By far one of my favorite Midwest style places to eat. REAL Italian Sausage like you find in Chicago and Wisconsin, and the Combo Sandwich Cheesy with Au Jus might as well be a Schedule 1 drug. Pizza is also great, and I’ll be following them when they move to 10610 Gaston…hopefully they open quickly!

Did an online order for delivery and waited an hour and 30 minutes for them to call me saying that I was out of the radius and they wouldn’t be able to deliver to me. Why did it take an hour and 30 minutes for them to reach out and tell me this? Why did their website even allow me to place the order after submitting my address? When I got to the establishment the owners son stated “I don’t know why my dad told you that .. we actually ran out of gas” and started laughing. I didn’t find this funny at all. If anything this was an inconvenience for me and shows a lack of respect for me as a customer. This review is solely being posted due to the father lying to me and the son obviously not being in on the lie and found it funny that the lie was told. Not to mention the only drinks they had available was lemonade, Rootbeer, Diet Dr Pepper AND when I got home the pizza wasn’t even cut. I will not be returning to this establishment.

Best deep dish Chicago style pizza!!! Better than ones we bought in Chicago and hauled down in a cooler. Was even great cold the next day. Grew up near Chicago, so had to try the Italian beef and Chicago dog also. Will definitely be going back!!

This is what we ordered. Big Z’s Monster Meat. I dunno about deep dish pizza’s and am not sure of this big z monster meat’s supposed to be a deep dish, but the price’s sky-high and nothing’s special about it. Paid $40+ which includes kid’s fries and chicken nuggets (ordinary) and tip. Never again.

Best Thin Crust Pizza I've had since living here in Texas. I'm from Milwaukee. I've been missing authentic thin crust for a while... I just couldn't find it until now. The sausage is authentic Chicago Italian sausage, the cheese is spot on, sauce, everything. If you're from the Milwaukee-Chicago area, I'll just say this. 10x better than DeRango's.

Chicago style pizza it's super ?? I don't know what they add to the bread that tastes super good ? that's what makes it better than most I've tried before, not only that it has a crunsh to it even with all that cheese. Highly recommend it

We moved to Houston from Milwaukee, WI December 2023. We love pizza and began searching for a pizza spot that would be as good as back home. I would bet that we tried at least 10 places before we found Big Z’s! JACKPOT! The pizza was AMAZING! I saw the owner and had to compliment his pizza and the service! Now every time I go in, he remembers me. Him being from Chicago, we are both midwestern raised and it feels like home to talk with him!
It’s the best pizza that I have found in this area! Don’t take my word for it, get your butt over there to place an order!
