Great place. You serve yourself and there are servers walking around. You order up front then they bring it to your table. Must go across to get your own drink at drink station. There's a coffee counter with desserts. Beautiful drinks, wine bottles. Lettuce wraps, good flavors but ground chicken us dry. Thai Brussel sprouts good. Cauliflower tempura was the best app. Got the salmon and it was great as well. Will be back

Last Saturday we had a sweet evening! It was our first time at Black Walnut Cafe. We wanted to try coffee with some dessert, and the tiramisu was the best option 😋 we also tried chocolate croissant, it was yumm. We'll come back to try some dishes next time!

Came Sunday at brunch time and was worried about the wait but it was such a great experience. The place looked packed but I had no issue ordering quickly and getting a table right away.
Food was delicious and service was amazing. Ordered the big plate and the birria breakfast plate. It’s counter service but the staff checked in on us periodically to see if we needed or wanted anything else! Brunch for 2 ended up only being around $35. Highly recommend.

Food was fresh and hot. Everything was delicious. The orange juice is freshly squeezed! You stand in a line to order and given a device to notify you when the food is ready. They delivered the food. That was the extent of service.

Very Poor service. It takes 35 mins for the guys to get a regular latte to the table. Poorly served. Pls note take your tip only after your service. If your service is not good why would i tip you up front. Train your employees about service and customer satisfaction.

This cafe is great! The only problems I have is that there’s something missing from the food. However I can’t put my finger on it. It’s awesome, the staff are super friendly. Make sure to go eat here at least once.

After a bad experience at Union Market, we tried Black Walnut Cafe for the 1st time today for breakfast. Place is very nice with pretty covered patio seating. Ordering process was simple, you walk up to a counter, order your food, and then choose your table. Everyone was nice and friendly, our waiter (dressed as Kylon Ren) was awesome. Generous portion and fair price. Would definitely come back.
