I am submitting this complaint to formally document an incident involving discriminatory treatment at the Bombshells Katy location.
On the date of this visit, I was dining with my wife and two coworkers. We all work together in an ophthalmology clinic and arrived separately after work. Upon being seated, I informed the server that I would not be consuming alcohol, as I had previously had drinks at another establishment. I ordered only water for myself.
Despite this, the server stated that alcohol could not be served to anyone in my party due to my prior consumption. I clearly and repeatedly stated that I was not ordering alcohol. Nonetheless, the server involved management and proceeded to refuse alcohol service specifically to my wife, who is Black, based on the assumption that she might give me a sip of her drink.
At the same time, our two white coworkers seated with us were served alcoholic beverages without restriction. This inconsistent application of alcohol service policies is concerning. My wife was not intoxicated, arrived in a separate vehicle, and in fact arrived with our white coworkers. There was no behavioral or factual basis to justify refusing her service while continuing to serve others at the same table.
I requested to speak with the general manager to address this discrepancy and clarify the situation. The general manager refused to come out and speak with me. Meanwhile, staff continued to serve alcohol to our white coworkers, apparently unaware that we were all part of the same party or that my wife was my spouse. This further demonstrates that the refusal of service was based on assumption rather than conduct.
As healthcare professionals, we operate under strict standards of professionalism, ethics, and non-discrimination. The treatment we experienced at this establishment reflects a failure to apply policies fairly and raises serious concerns regarding racial bias and unequal treatment of patrons.
This complaint is submitted to formally document the incident and request that Bombshells Katy review its service practices, staff training, and management response to ensure compliance with non-discrimination standards. No patron should be subjected to unequal treatment based on race or assumption. If I could leave zero stars, I would.

Great bartenders here jewels, lillie, and CeCe great spot to chill
This place is not about what the customer asks for. They gave me a table that didn’t have a TV nearby because the one it had was showing boxing. I politely asked if they could switch it to the UFC fight, and they ignored my request both times… just giving excuses.
Everyone has their preferences, but most of the TVs were showing boxing even though very few people were watching it. It’s unbelievable to come to a bar and get no attention, but they’ll definitely smile when it’s time to pay the bill.
