We finally got to try this place today and it was delicious, service was fast and friendly, great menu selection, let’s face it BBQ is expensive everywhere but might as well treat myself for Easter! The brisket was good and moist, the chicken is good good, the BBQ sauce was good, I love the Mac n cheese and the green beans were like mama used to make! We’ll definitely be back again!

I was going to take out some brisket for my husband's supper. The lady greeted me with, "We have one potato left and it has your name on it!" How can I resist that? I left with 2 meat brisket and ribs for him and the stuffed potato for me! We were very impressed with the quality of the food! The macaroni and cheese was good and cheese-y. The green beans were well flavored. The potato stuffed with chopped brisket with all the trimmings was delicious. We were able to get 3 meals apiece from the generous servings! You are not paying for atmosphere in Kroger's, but we will carry out from them again and again!

The customer service was amazing and the young lady hooked my plate up. At first I thought it was a little pricey but when I saw the portion it was well worth it. The family and I will definitely be back ❤️

I'm starting to think no one in Houston has ever had good bbq before. This meat was so tasteless then the store bought bbq sauce threw it right out of the window. HOW do you mess up macaroni and cheese!? People were nice but the food was unbelievably plain.

This is my 3rd time at this location and the first two times I went earlier in the day and the food was decent not bad but ok for a quick dinner especially since who actually wants to cook after grocery shopping. Today I went around 4p and you could look at the food and tell it had been sitting all day. The mac n cheese looked horrible and the rice was so hard it had lost its color. You could tell it just wasnt right. I told the cashier it looked old and she said it was and it had been out all day. The burns worker TJ was absolutely amazing. Great customer service. The quality of the food however was beyond disappointing matter of fact down right embarrassing. Burns is really good but this location is definitely hit or miss and today they were a MISS!

Attempted to come in and buy some barbecue on a whim. Have had them a few times and they are very hit or miss. They open at 11:00 a.m. I come in at 11:30 and they aren't open. It peturbs me whe businesses can't uphold their own standards when it comes to operating hours, product availability, consistency, and cleanliness. Went to Uncle Bubbas up the street, and they served us. Definitely will not returning to Burns BBQ on Burn's Day or any other!

BBQ is my go to meal I can eat it everyday , I tried the food a few months ago and got sick , I gave them another chance today and same thing my stomach does agree with something maybe the rice

5 stars for atmosphere since it’s inside of krogers which is nice & clean with friendly people ! I been eating burns since 1990 & I’ll never eat it again ! What’s going on !!!!! Everything is horrible ! Not to mention they don’t care if you have FOOD experience OR NOT let alone BBQ they will hire ANYBODY & it shows ! Katy don’t deserve this, take it back to acres homes thank you

Despite reviews, I wanted to try it out for myself. Went in on a Sunday afternoon, shortly after they opened. Since they had everything available, I chose the 3 meat plate with 2 sides. Overall, the food was good it was missing the smoke flavor for me. I'd say try it for yourself since everybody taste bids are different. Guys working were nice.

The only good thing I can say is that the staff at the Katy location was great. However, my experience with Burns was horrible. I am completely disappointed. I contacted them for their catering service. I ordered 2 large pans of dirty rice and 1 large pan of green beans 2 days in advance of my mother's 85th birthday party. Now, I confirmed that I could pick up my food at the Katy location at 11:00 am. Time was crucial since I had the bday person with me and had to be at my event by 12:30.I arrived at Kroger (Burns is inside) at 10:30. It just so happens that a man is unloading food from his van and the staff are bringing it inside. I jokingly said something about I'm ready for my food. The man says what food and I said my catering order. HE KNEW NOTHING ABOUT IT! The caterer FAILED to place my order even though he had my money. So, the man turns out to be Mr. Burns and he says he'll be able to make the food for me after I show him my receipt and asked the caterer, Marcus, to call them. It takes an hour. Needless to say, I arrive at my event later than I anticipated. To make matters worse, the food was not good. The dirty rice was not flavorful and the green beans were bland and seemed half cooked. Also, The dirty rice wasn't mixed well. So, never not ever will I trust Burns for an event and my food choices weren't good.
