Love China Cottage! Our server was very attentive and polite, even with my toddler being a lil bit of a mess. She loves the fish tanks there. You absolutely need to order the potstickers, they’re amazing. The hot and sour soup is also very good, and the fried rice. Everything is pretty great, honestly, but sometimes I just order a bunch of dumplings and soup.

Please do not order from here. The food was less than sub-par. It was even on the border line of being spoiled before they cooked it and served it to me. Highly recommend not eating at this establishment.

I ordered Eggplant ? in garlic sauce and pork. The meal was so hot ? I couldn't eat it. I took it home and trying to cool it down. The food is not the the same since the husband and wife originally owned it.

my family and I come here a lot for dinner. We get the Beijing beef and different kinds of chicken to try. I also really enjoy their rice and it is a good cheap Chinese meal. That is very different from panda express. If you live in the Katy area. I definitely would recommend this place for a nice warm meal.again like I said that we come here a lot, I also want to mention that it’s nice for special occasions. My friends and I have been to this location as well and I definitely think it would be good for dates.

We used to come here regularly when we lived in Katy but we moved out of town. Recently, my co-workers have brought me back here and I quickly remembered why we loved this place. The food is consistently very tasty and served quickly. The staff is also very friendly and extremely attentive. My go-to dish is General Tso’s chicken but the Mala Chicken and Hunan Chicken are great as well. While other restaurants raise their prices all the time, this place stay very affordable.

Very good food as usual. But it was Chinese New Year and the other table of 8 that came in after we ordered was served before my table of 2. Waitress said our food was not made correctly but do we want it anyway. No! I believe the cook was paying attention to all the food he was cooking for the other table, about 8 dishes of food, and not ours

Left after a couple of minutes because there was a yelling kid whose parents would not control.

This place has gone downhill tremendously, unfortunately. Last time we went, there were fruit flies EVERYWHERE flying around and dead fruit flies in the sauce they brought for the spring rolls. I called it to their attention and asked for another sauce. They brought a new one. I took off the lid and more flies. As I looked around I noticed fly strips all over the walls. With hundreds of fruit flies on it.Never again.

For over two decades, this restaurant was our favorite Chinese restaurant. Regrettably, our last two visits were disappointing due to poor food and a deteriorating atmosphere, including unpleasant odors and apparent use of part of the dining area as storage and a family lounge. Sadly, the Panda Express across the street is a more appealing alternative. We won’t be back.
