I noticed some bad reviews. I guess this place is a hit or miss. I’m doing a review and gave them overall 4 stars because the food was very fresh and everything seemed clean. Will I go there again? According to the bad reviews, I’m not sure. But I did not have a bad experience. The place was very quiet. Almost still. I do recommend some dining music.

This is allegedly sweet and sour chicken. I ordered it with white rice but there was no sauce on it it’s just chicken. The place was also empty which I should have taken as a sign

Ordered for delivery at 3:40pm and still waiting on my order at 6:02pm, I called 3 times at 5:04 and didn’t get an answer until the 4th time, They told me my order was sent to the wrong address and called back at 5:17 and said it would be 30 more minutes. So I ordered around lunch time and still haven’t got my food and it’s now dark outside, Incredibly sad and disappointing. Don’t order delivery here

The food has zero taste! I ordered a beef fried rice and it was the most tasteless meal ever. To add, it was really just a big box of flavorless fried rice with 5 pieces of beef on top to give the perception of a reasonable amount of beef, but really that wasn’t the case.

When I'm hospitalized at Memorial Hermann Hospital Katy, my friends will have lunch at China Inn Café. They give high ratings for the food and prices. Also, they'll bring me takeout soups, especially egg-drop and wontog soups which are fabulous!

That’s a long-term customer. I was very disappointed today when I ordered my meal, took it home only to find out that the chicken with chewy and did not look like it was cooked. unfortunately, my kids had spit it out and throw it away and instead I got in my car to come back and return it only to be told they cannot do anything because I did not order through them and I ordered through an app. Instead, he gave me a hard time because we had eaten some of it no sir I just told you we had to throw away what was on our plate because it was chewy and not cooked. if you needed to keep the $13 that bad just say so but if my kid gets food poisoning, you will be hearing from me again I reached out to beyond menu and hopefully they will take care of this. It’s a shame because we always love coming here.

i did not dine in so unsure of the service but the food was just alright. I judge pretty heavy when it comes to sesame chicken. I like a fat juicy chunk of chicken smothered in that sweet thick sauce but they failed. sauce was very thin, watery, salty and was not very tasty. Also the sesame chicken pieces were small . they are also stingy with the protein in the fried rice. if they cant get fried rice or sesame chicken right. I'm out. will not be ordering from here in the future

Ordered the Lunch special Sweet & Sour Pork. It comes with an egg drop soup. They also served some type of chips that I don't know the name of, but they have a slight sweetness to them that makes them good.
Food was amazing and very affordable, plus they make a good sweet tea. This'll be my go-to spot for Asian food in the Katy Mills area

This gh the young kid who served me was very pleasant the food was nasty. The rice just was fried. No eggs nor meat and veggies. The sweet and sour chicken is the same frozen sweet and sour chicken you can buy at Cosco and air dry. Unfortunately I wouldn’t be a returning customer
Place is definitely underrated. Ordered the most delicious hot and sour soup with a General Tso entree that I have had in a long time. This place does not skimp out on flavor. Will visit again on next trip through Katy
Good food, good prices, fast lunch.
The worst Chinese food I ever ate. I couldn’t even recognize the plate when they brought it out. Kung Pao chicken was chicken slice with some kind of plain sauce. We ordered 3 plates, couldn’t finish 1/3. The worst food I have ever eaten in my entire life
