This shop is a hidden gem. Hidden from the main road does not stop this place from being great.
I was a little lost once entering the shop. I didn't know what to get. There are so many options on the menu. It took me a bit to figure out, and the cashier was patient. He helped me figure out what I would like best.
We sat down and waited for a little longer than usual as I had ordered breakfast with my coffee. The coffee mug was burning hot to the touch. Only for the coffee itself to be... enjoyable! Did they warm up the cup ahead of time, or did the mug take the heat away that fast? I don't know. However, I was impressed.
A little while after being able to process the coffee, the food arrives. It was neatly built and smelled so good. I was not disappointed with the taste. The texture was just crunchy enough on the outside, leaving the inside a favorable amount of gooey. They also placed a pile of greens on the corner, which surprised me as most places give you basic dry leaves. It was sauces with a vinaigrette that balanced with the flavor of the main dish. To say the least, the plate was left empty.
I'd recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy a good morning. Coffee, sandwiches, crepes, all good choices to have in the morning.

Felt a little sterile when we went (but on the plus side it smelled very clean.. like pine-sol) about an hour before closing. I typically read reviews thoroughly before going somewhere but I had visited Cocohodo a couple of years ago and had a great time. I didn’t know it could change so much!! We got the Italiano and a Nutella crepe with strawberries, totaling almost $20 which isn’t bad at all. The thing that I should have paid attention to was the fact they don’t make crepes in front of you as most other crêperies do — which in my opinion is one of the perks of even eating crepes. Thus, the chicken in the Italiano tasted like a microwave defrosted deli slice and it was immediately off-putting. The crepe itself was nice but a little crunchy for what I would have liked, and the sauce on top was probably the best bit. The nutella crepe was pretty basic, nothing can really go wrong here as it is literally sweet chocolate and strawberries. I have had them more chocolatey other places so really nothing special. Sadly we will not be returning here!! I’m sure ice cream and drinks may be appreciated by others but the crepes are just not worth it to me.
A hidden gem; good vibes (especially for studying), great food, and customer service is nice. There are lots of good items on the menu, but you should try the strawberries and cream crepe if you get the chance (my fav ?).

WE WILL NEVER GO BACK! We've been customers for Cocohodo for more than four years. It's my wife's favorite place to go for brunch on the West side of town. However, we took here there for mothers day on Sunday and the experience was completely ruined by the guy serving behind the counter. A master class in passive aggressive behavior and making customers feel uncomfortable. All my wife asked was if she could have tea in one of the cups/mugs (rather than in paper or a glass!) The guy behind the counter ignored the request and then when asked why he insisted on serving using a glass he grew increasingly belligerent.
Parking: Easy and plenty of parking even on busy days
