customer service was great, and the food was delicious! I ordered the brisket — it tasted amazing, though the portion for brisket No. 2 was quite small. Maybe it was close to closing time, so that could be why. 🤔
Next time, I think I’ll order by the pound instead — the brisket was really good! Overall, everything was nice, and I’ll definitely try them again to see how the quantity compares for my next review.
I tried before another one in Sugarland and it was great quantity… I will update my reviewers soon 🤓

Wasn't busy when we were there. It was Saturday around 1pm. Some people were in and out, picking up to go orders. Hubby and mom were with me. We all ordered brisket. I also had sausage, fries and coleslaw. Mom potato salad & hubby baked beans. Everything was Delicious. Oh and dessert, chocolate cake not sure of what kind, the other cake was. It look like carmel, but it wasn't. Hubby and mom said the cakes are Delicious as well. We'll be back soon!!

We were craving bbq real bad and there’s not many places that serve bbq after 10pm so we tested our shot and we were impressed. Brisket melt was so decadent and delicious! Had a really nice spicy kick and Kenny, the host/cook was amazing. Attentive and sweet and just overall really good service.

I wouldn’t recommend this place. Recently ordered quite a bit from the menu and they were all bad. First, I asked for mild and I don’t know what mild means here compared to other locations but every single food item my mouth was burning for a long time after a single bite. Maybe they messed up the heat level or maybe their mild is out of this world, I don’t know. Second, the fish is super salty and 90% crust so I definitely recommend staying away from this if you don’t want a mouth full of dried up crust and salt that is 5x your daily allowance in one bite. And then the burgers, all were pretty bland except for the Texas toast which was decent. The chicken sando, again, the salt was stupid high and chicken was really hard. Besides the food, there a cool wall with marvel characters all over.

Title: A Complete Disgrace to Barbecue and an Embarrassment to Me and My Guests
This was not just a disappointing meal. It was one of the worst dining experiences of my life. I came to this Dickey’s with a group of eight to ten people, and I wanted to treat them to good barbecue. Instead, I walked out embarrassed in front of everyone, furious that I wasted one hundred dollars, and disgusted that I trusted this place with both my money and my reputation.
The only good thing in this entire visit was the man at the counter. He was polite, professional, and tried to do his job the best he could. Unfortunately, he was the lone bright spot in an otherwise catastrophic experience. Everything else that happened was a disgrace.
I was steered into buying a $100 party platter. It was recommended to me directly, and it sounded like the perfect option to feed my group. I handed over my money in good faith, only to be told after I paid that they did not even have enough food to make it. That is not an accident, that is deliberate dishonesty. They sold me a meal they could not provide, and then shrugged it off like it was nothing.
What they slapped together instead was pathetic. The brisket was bone dry, with no flavor, no smoke, and the texture of old leather. The sandwich came with cold, unmelted cheese thrown on top as if they could not even be bothered to melt it. The sausage was stone cold, like it had been sitting in a fridge. The fries were soggy, bland, and tasted like they had been sitting under a lamp for hours. The sides were an outright insult. The corn and mac and cheese tasted microwaved and processed, like something pulled out of a freezer box.
Even the water was disgusting. It tasted like dirty tap water, and it was the final insult on top of an already miserable meal. When a restaurant cannot even get water right, it tells you how little they care about anything they serve.
This is a restaurant that calls itself a barbecue pit. That is laughable. I saw no smoke, no seasoning, and no pride. I have seen more smoke come out of a coffee shop than from this kitchen. This was not barbecue, it was lifeless slop disguised as food.
And the worst part was my guests. Every single person at the table was disappointed. They were looking forward to a proper meal, and instead they were served cold, dry, and tasteless scraps. I felt humiliated. It was not just bad food, it was a bad reflection on me for bringing them here.
I spent one hundred dollars and walked away empty-handed, angry, and embarrassed. A clean dining area means nothing when the food is inedible and the service is built on deception.
This was not simply a bad experience. It was a total failure of a restaurant at every single level. It was a graveyard for food, a place where culinary dreams go to die. Dickey’s should be ashamed to have their name anywhere near this establishment. This location is an insult to customers, a scam that takes money without delivering quality, and a disgrace to the very idea of barbecue. It does not deserve to be open another day.

I dropped over $100 here and it was hands-down one of the worst meals I’ve ever paid for. The brisket was dry, chewy, and tasted like it had been sitting around all day. The sides were bland and cold, like something scooped out of a grocery deli bin. For a place calling itself “barbecue,” there was zero smoke, zero flavor, and zero pride. Absolute rip-off—tiny portions and outrageous prices. I wouldn’t eat here again if it were free.

Came in and high hopes for some halal bbq. Service was great and we decided to order the XL pack which was 100 dollars that was supposed to feed 8 people. When we got the food it was very limited in quantity and definitely not enough, the brisket we got was really dry and not flavorful or had a Smokey flavor, the sausage was not that great either, it was just meat that did not have any sort of casing nor flavor that you would get from a bbq place. We also had four sides, fries and Mac and cheese as well as corn. The fries were not hot or crispy and were bland, the Mac and cheese was just average at best, and the corn was honestly not that bad. Because we did not have enough food and ate everything in 2 minutes, we decided to get individual things such as the sandwiches and other meats. I got the smoked chicken and it was just dry chicken breast that had no smoky flavor at all, the sandwiches had brisket which was all dry and felt like it came out the Sahara desert, the food also felt microwaved. Considering how much money we paid it was not worth the experience and felt we got less for what was actually marketed especially in the XL group pack.
If you want halal bbq that has the flavor and taste i would recommend levant or chuck wagon, it’s much more better and worth the price.
