Donkey Yaki

My favorite food stall inside H-mart Korean supermarket in Katy. The fried squid on the stick is so delicious. My son ordered the bulgoki with rice and the flavor is good, they packed lots of meat and it was decently priced at $12.00. Definitely would return. And the lady cashier is so friendly!!

It was my first time here so the food was good. Not what I expected but it overall good. If you live dumplings then give this place a try.

The ribeye beef teriyaki is cooked perfectly. Nice crispy edges and good flavor.

Quite frankly I am shocked this place has good reviews because at 11:25am on a Tuesday morning, the service is lacking very much. There were two grown men, one white and the other asian.. both whom were on their cell phones and ignored me twice when I tried to get their “undivided” attention. I finally got one’s attention to be told they were not open which I knew was to be false as the sign right by the establishment states 11am opening. However a woman did try to help me but I left and gave Chef H my money in the same strip. Terrible service. Will never be back.

Cafeteria style eatery in HMART but my family loves this place. The quality and consistency of their donkatsu (we have had the cheese, the curry, the regular) are always perfect over rice. They also always give us more curry or donkatsu sauce if we go back and ask for more. The employees at Donkey Yaki are always prepping or cleaning or aware of customers walking up. Very very attentive. It’s also super cold on this side of the eatery, so bring a sweatshirts. Oh, you can sub fries for their salad for free and we always do this. We come here about twice a month.

It’s busy on Saturdays and finding parking can be a bit difficult as the entire KATY Asian town parking lot seems filled, so be patient.

Ordered here to try out the place. The food came out quick and the service was great. The price for the portions of food you get are fair. Will comeback here in the future

Japanese counter service food in the H-Mart food hall. Got one of their meals and a soup! Super good, quick and fair price! Quality of the food was there! Ordered my food for Takeout after finishing shopping at H-mart. The cashier service could be more interactive like them offering suggestions or asking if it's your first time to develop more customer engagement in my opinion though.

I would say I'm quite disappointed with this place. The food was good, however the service was lacking. The cashier was very rude, and gave an attitude towards me. They opened 30 minutes late, and when I asked about how long till they open she said I don't know and rolled her eyes. It was on a Tuesday morning.
