My mom and I visited the winery Saturday, March 12th, 2022. My brother Tanner told me about the winery. :) Our wine server was Adria and was she was excellent. She did a great job explaining all of the details and she also had a lot of patience. Great customer service is paramount and she delivered! Thank you Adria.?❤️
Maybe Saturday isn’t best day to go. I really wanted this to be a great experience but I was instead greatly disappointed. The parking is terrible, we literally had to park on the street and then cross that busy street at night to get to the winery. Our reservation was for six and we waited 20 minutes to be seated. Our waitress was all over the place and very unorganized. She spilled cranberry wine on my friend’s white pants and all she said was oops and laughed it off. I have been to other wineries and while you’re doing the tasting they take away the glasses that you’ve already used. Our waitress didn’t remove any of the glasses she just kept piling them on, so we sat there with a table full of empty glasses the whole time. After she brought our last round of tastings we did not see our waitress again. We had to ask another waitress to find our waitress so that we could pay our bill and leave. I was also supposed to get a complementary birthday drink and that never happened because she literally disappeared. This place felt like a backyard barbecue at best not a winery.
We really enjoyed the atmosphere here. First timers must try the Max Tasting to indulge in all flavors. It was a cold windy day so most people were inside. We will be back to enjoy the fire pits and heat lamps. Our waitress Tawanna was awesome.
Run dont walk to this fine establishment!!The wine, the atmosphere, the cheese board, the food trucks, the customer service the LIVE music , the prices the clean restrooms... it's all top notch!! Visited twice once in the day time and then again at night for the best exposure and best believe I will be back very soon.
We came on a Saturday- loved it!!! Beautiful spot, live music, great wine. Our server was JJ. He was very kind and very informative. We are definitely coming back with a party in tow!
Tre was a great help! I will definitely be back!
Heard excellent things about this establishment and decided to drop in. Tre the manger was serving me and my husband, he had a lovely attitude, great personality, and very professional. He gave us a quick and easy run down of their best picks and what he thought would suit us. I’ll definitely be back and looking for the manager Tre to serve/support us again
Wine selection was spectacular, service was amazing. I drive past this establishment every day, but this is my first time stopping by. Myself and my wife truly enjoyed our evening. Mrs T gave us a history of the wines, the eatablishement, the owner among other things. Very happy that we stopped by for a date night, definitely will be back.
Our first time here and we loved it. J.J our server was phenomenal and his recommendations were spot on. It's a very chill experience and we are highly impressed. There's live music and food trucks here on Friday night. We highly recommend and shall return. Prices are very affordable.
We had our company holiday event here and it was a wonderful experience. On our initial visit we received lots of information, toured the outside property, and the inside area where our event took place. The room was spacious, bright, holiday music playing on the tv, and how they have the tables set up they're able to accompany several parties comfortably. Our wine tasting was a great experience as well. The host was very knowledgeable about each wine listed. They also have live music outside which put an extra touch on things. Ryce and her team was very attentive, pleasant and always had a smile. They did a wonderful job at making sure our event ran smoothly. Erma Rose Winery is a gem! We'll definitely be visiting them again!

Great prices & tasting experience. Our server Malcolm was beyond amazing & knowledgable.Definitely try The Masked Gorilla daiquiri. Not typically keen on mixed drinks but theirs was amazing! Fresh fruits blended with their white fruit wine. Also, consider the banana wine for a taste. We were brought dark chocolate for the “experience”. Reaction not expected at all.Didn’t get the anticipated headache after tasting all 9 wines. Will definitely be returning on Wednesdays for ladies night & the weekends for food truck bitesEdited post to include photos. Updated menu has two more wines showing since this review was written initially in 2018. Have been many times since - do not have updated photos
We did Enjoyed ourselves for the most part,..the only problem was the Flys and our waitress could of been more of a host to us, we had to get someone else to get her a couple times and that wasn't cool. The food was good from the food truck. I will return again but I will not have her as my host. Wine was great.??
The highlight of my Houston, Tx trip. This place is a whole vibe ? The staff is educated, friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is cool, calm and collected. Outdoors, under shaded trees. The venue offers Hookah, Cigars and other goods sold by local business owners. They had 2 food trucks and live music. The wine was delicious and the prices you can’t beat. I highly recommend this venue and I will definitely visit again.
As a beer blogger, I usually stick with beer wherever I go. But I am not one to pass up an opportunity to try a different adult beverage, especially when doing so supports local business. These factors convinced me to leave my beer mug behind and pay a visit to ErmaRose Winery, a locally owned business in the Houston suburb of Katy, Texas.ErmaRose Winery is comprised of two buildings, an outdoor space, and a parking area. With the buildings, one of them is utilized for making the wine, the other is an indoor space for seating. The majority of the seating is outdoors and guests will be happy to know there is often live entertainment to go with the wine and a few food trucks to grab a bite to eat while you drink. The wines at ErmaRose Winery are sweet and fruity, making them ideal for someone like me who prefers wine that leans in a sweet direction. There are about twelve wines from which to choose and the names are simple: Most are one- word names signifying the primary fruit used in the wine. There is strawberry wine, blackberry wine, blueberry wine, and so on. Creative types might find this a little boring, but it does make it easy to remember. And if you would rather drink something a little fizzier and refreshing, they serve several wine cocktails/coolers, which are combinations of wine and sprite or some other mixer.I like the laid back, friendly vibe at ErmaRose Winery but one issue I had when I was here was finding a place to park. The parking space isn’t small, the problem is that this winery is popular and therefore it is often overflowing with cars. You may have to circle around multiple times before you find a space. And while I like the wines, I didn’t necessarily find anything that was truly outstanding. Most are agreeable, however, and if you’re inclined to like fruity, sweet wines, you will enjoy what you taste. It’s great that Katy now has its own winery. ErmaRose Winery is the first one in the Katy area and while it does have a few ways it could be improved, it is still a nice place to sit back, chill with a glass of wine, and enjoy warm breezes and live entertainment.
What an extraordinary place! It was all outside. I'd recommend getting here after dark. The mood is so chill. Awesome music! The wine is amazing. Staff is very educated! I'll be back for sure!
