Sad they closed. Their food was phenomenal. I hope they open a new location because they were capable of taking on a bigger crowd for sure.

We order a-paella and risotto fungi. The risotto was salty and consistency was not rightThe Paella was less salty but was under cooked. Excess of oilThe meat lomito was not first quality either.( For the risotto)We are italian/ venezuelan desendence. Is a shame we did not get the quality that we were expecting!

Love this place, the food is delicious, the atmosphere is great, sometimes they have live music. My only advise would be to offer the ceviche. Fully recommend the paella, it is out of the moon.

Wow I didn’t expect to find a food so good. The food is out of this world, everything from appetizers to dessert and expreso. I tried Pabellon which it is with a twist and among the 3 best I’ve eaten in my life. My companion party ate paella ? which I tried and it is excellent. First class service and Chef Luis is a must know Chef ?‍?I will come back for sureIf during weekend recommend to make reservations.

For my 23rd birthday dinner, there was nowhere else I wanted to go other than Essentials Kitchen and have some of Chef Luis Alberto Martinez’s exceptional food. After having traveled through all four corners of Spain, I can confidently say I’ve yet to have a better paella than Chef Luis’s (pictured below is fiedua negra, with fideos in lieu of rice and with squid ink).We felt like we were dining at home among friends (byob is always an extra plus, too).If you’re looking for some of the most flavorful, delicious, and unique food you’ve ever eaten, look no furtherAt Essentials Kitchen, you’ll find some of the most unique and tasty dishes you can find anywhere, as Chef Luis has trained and cooked in countries and restaurants all over the world. His menu and flavors are indicative of such a diverse background, and I’d guarantee you won’t be disappointed.Essentials is a place that friends and family come to wine and dine, but, more importantly, enjoy each other’s company. You won’t be rushed out the door and you’ll feel right at home while enjoying some of the best food you’ll ever eat; you may even be serenaded with some gorgeous live music.

Well….I had second thoughts about posting my review because once I do, this best kept secret will be out. I have lived in Argentina for 4 years being exposed to all Latin food. Venezuela food has been one of my favorites. This place hits the mark in Venezuela food. The Eccoqui on Arepas was delicious. The ceviche was as fresh as I remember it in So America as well as the Passion Fruit Panna Cotta. Fresh! I’ll be back to try the other inviting items on the menu. ?.

First time here. Service and food are very good. I recommend the seafood paella. As appetizers, the ceviche is the best served with platanutres. In addition, the shrimp served with tostones. On Saturday and Sunday they have music. They make a variety of mixed drinks made with tropical fruits. I will come

Excellent in every way!! Would give them more stars if I could. This is by far the best paella and risotto (all of them) we’ve ever had!! Also, don’t leave without trying the Katy arepas and the dulce de leche Tres Leches dessert, you wont be disappointed and you’ll have to return for more, sorry.Excellent service as well. The staff is very attentive and nice and chef Luis is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure we are more than happy in our experience there. Every time we go we cant wait to return. Thank you again!

Intimate restaurant serving south American cuisine.Reservations required due to limited seating. They have live music on Friday and Saturday nights. The food is amazing and the service is too.Their paella is excellent, as are their arepa and cachapa. We have been here numerous times now and we've never had a bad meal.I highly recommend this place. We love it!

First time trying this wonderful place. Forgot to take photos of plantain chips so yummy and freshly made. Fish ceviche was refreshing and full of flavor finally the Paella plenty to share not over powering and well balanced with seafood. Oh let's not forget the fresh bread. We will surely be back to try more dishes! Staff was lovely and explained each dish to us which helped narrowing our choices. Try the habanero sauce!!!Vegetarian options: Saw several options.Parking: Easy parking but could be tight during rush time.
