These people are unbelievably unprofessional. Yes, the food is decent, but that does not excuse the absolutely unacceptable level of customer service. The way customers are treated here is shocking. There is zero respect, zero accountability, and clearly zero understanding that customers are the reason this business exists in the first place.
I felt completely disregarded and disrespected, as if my time and money meant nothing. It genuinely seems like they believe they can treat people however they want with no consequences. That mindset is wild and frankly embarrassing for any establishment that expects repeat business.
I will not be returning, and I strongly recommend anyone considering this place to spend their money elsewhere. There are plenty of restaurants with good food and basic human decency. Customer experience matters, and this place clearly does not care.

The parking lot is full of the other business, a driving school, cars. Not customers. The driving school has cars piled in on top of cars. You will be lucky to find a parking spot for the restaurant. The restaurant does not have reserved parking for it's customers as it should. So it is a challenge. The food is priced high. The wait for your food is long, and slow. You would think that the food is already prepared and ready to go, but you will have to wait. The portions are small for the price you pay, so be prepared. The food taste is average and the chicken is tough and has feathers on it.

Their service is horrible and food is stupidly expensive. Drove 1hr only for them to forget my rice after I asked the man there to make sure all the food was there. I paid 92 dollars for 2 meals and the white rice was 9.99 only for me to get home and it wasn’t there. I had to still boil the rice. I messaged them for a refund and he’s telling me I should drive back there to get rice . Never ever ever going back there. Nigerian restaurants need to do better.

When it comes to Abula, I don't think anywhere in Houston can beat Famous Princess. It is literally 10/10 no notes! I've also orderd Efo Riro, Egusi, and Jollof rice. These are all good but I didn't love the Egusi or Jollof, to be clear - they were very delicious but just some minor nuances that are more my personal preference but the food is undoubtebly good! I would recommend this place to anyone in Houston looking to eat authentic Nigerian food.
The only thing that keeps this place from getting 5 stars is the service. I typically order for delivery and sometimes the communication isn't ideal. For example, I placed an order and an item was missing and they read my message and never responded or refunded the missing item.

This is the best and tasty niherian food restaurant 😋 Their soup is so delicious that you'll continue picking your fingers. The wait is worth it, because good food deserved the patience.
I will always visit again when next I am in Houston.

I drove all the way from Dallas to enjoy the food here and even planned to get some to-go orders as I have been salivating from what I saw online. Only to arrive and find the restaurant closed, despite their Google hours showing it’s open
That’s very disappointing and honestly poor customer service. This should have been updated to avoid wasting people’s time and gas.
Today is January 3rd, and the sign on their door says they’ll be back on the 7th. I really hope they improve on keeping their business hours current.
Ridiculous wait time, not worth the pain. I will only go back if ready to wait for 90 minutes.

They charged me $412.16 for my food and didn’t include the pounded yam I paid for. I need a refund
