The location has zero parking , had to park across the street, lacked good staffing , there were no servers, the biz needs to hire more people and begin to think of expansion our order was wrongly served asked for fish got goat meat and assorted stew. So much confusion with the order . We had to accept it cause the timing to get the food out took about 25mins. by and large, the owner wasn't welcoming so, but the food tasted good.

I went there sometime in Feb and the place was actually very DIRTY.This is not me exaggerating but EVERY table had dirty dishes, there was really no where to sit down..I was actually so shocked that I couldnโt believe my eyes.I like famous princess food and this was the second time I was visiting the restaurant.I really didnโt like what I witnessed and I had to leave. please do betterโฆmaybe hire more people because it only seemed like it was 2 people working the front that day and especially if you know a lot of people come to your restaurant.
Food is made with full African infusion, home away from home. Large portions, too. Wasn't a fan of the interior. Service is good.

๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ธ๐ถ๐ป๐ด took quite a while as the complex was bustling. We had to wait about 20 minutes for a space to become available, so factor this into your timing when you visit.
The ๐๐ถ๐ฏ๐ฒ I felt upon walking in was reminiscent of an African bukka-style ambience. Not the roadside bukka, but rather the Olaiya and Amala Skye in Lekki feel.
A gentleman told us to choose a table and that someone would attend to us shortly; however, that did not happen, and after about 10 minutes, we had to ask what was going on.
Eventually, we placed our order, and when our dishes arrived, they more than compensated for the parking and service wait time challenges. The ๐ฝ๐ผ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฒ ๐ฒ๐ป๐ผ๐ฟ๐บ๐ผ๐๐. Lol. There was absolutely no way anyone could finish that in one sitting.
The efo riro was flavoured, and the goat meat was tender and well-seasoned. We ended up taking the leftovers to go.
I will undoubtedly revisit the restaurant the next time I am in the area.

Three consecutive times my order was seriously messed up. The third time I specifically pleaded with the manager to check my order to ensure everything ordered is correct before Uber picks it up due to my prior experience. He bluntly refused. When i received my food my worries were legit, order was once again messed up. I will agree this restaurant ranks top 3 in Houston in terms of taste, but customer service is NOTHING good to write about, I hope they work on that.

The pounded yam and egusi is a hit, best I ever had in years. Plus the dodo is juicy and nice so be sure to crown your jollof rice with it.
Environment isn't fancy, but I really don't care. The food rocks !!!
Vegetarian options: The portions are large.

Please improve your timing. It's terrible. Don't let your customers wait for more than an hour before serving the food.

This is my second time coming here.
The parking is God awful. I literally saw an accident happen in front of me because it's so hard getting in and out.
I waited damn near half an hour to place an order. The lady taking my order saw me in line, and when it was my turn, she went to another lady who had just walked in. I had to tell her I was next like she hadn't seen me waiting.
Ordered my food and paid in cash, mind you no receipt.
At one point, I tried to get her attention as she was walking through the restaurant, and she ignored me and went straight to some men who had walked in.
After an hour of waiting, she called my name to get my food and just plopped the food on the counter and walked away. She could have easily handed it to me.
Finally got my food, and I was so underwhelmed. Ordered gbegiri and ewedu and egusi. Their only saving grace is that they give lots of meat, and yheir pounded yam is fresh. Otherwise, I didn't enjoy my meal.
Had the food been good, I would have ignored the rest. But the food wasn't worth the trouble.
I will say there was a guy that seemed to be the manager, and he was very nice and attentive
