I've tried to give this place several chances but they seriously need to do better at running this business. Avoid take-out as they prioritize patrons who prefer to dine in. They need more organization and structure - and also more staff when taking orders. The food is delicious/authentic Nigerian food with prestige/nostalgic Yoruba flavors. They at least have that part right. But you cannot order ahead, and they have items listed on their menu that they are constantly out of. This is frustrating - especially when traveling from a long distance. They are a bit on the pricier end, however they do compensate with their portion sizes. Hoping to find another decent spot in Houston - but as a native New Yorker, I constantly find myself missing NYC Nigerian restaurants.

Her original pounded yam is my absolute best when I visit, I always ensure i place an order for the Designer stew which tastes heavenly. Humility and attention to details is her strength. Will highly recommend.

First of all, service was horrible. They do 1 million things at the same time and cant focus on taking an order. This is not a place where you can just order lunch. Their food must be family packs because the entree (meat) is $30, then you have to order a side for extra $$. The rice was made with parboiled rice. Defenitley not what I was expecting, but everyones taste is different. I would encourage you to go and try the $75 catfish or tilapia for yourself. Abeg! Let us know if it is worth it.Parking: Very small parking lot shared with other businesses and a church.

I had Egusi before at another restaurant in Katy.. and I did not like it at all! I was telling myself how is everyone going crazy about Egusi and it’s nasty… so I gave it one more chance but I came here to the famous princess and OMGGGGG the EGUSI IS SO GOOD! I know I was greeted by the chef when I walked in, she’s kind spirit.. and her food did not disappoint me at all! I mean it’s soo good, I’m willingly ready to try anything else she make.. the flavor is 10/10 A TOTALLY DIFFERENT experience. If you tried African food before and it kinda lacked flavor I recommend any and everybody please try it here first.. SHE did not miss. Now I can say the beef could have been a little bit more tender but chileeeee, that ain’t even matter cause it’s soo good lol! Will be back again. Thank you love. Xoxo

The food is great, although it's not fresh (warmed up). The customer service is horrible, as in rude to the point where it's completely asinine.

If you’re not African or familiar with the dishes or known to them don’t waste your time. I came in super excited to try because someone on Katy foodies said they had the best food. I came in waited and the lady in the front gave me the worst look ever. She looked me up and down. Fully ignored me. Then finally after standing there for a little while she looks at me and says “what do you want” when I tell her what I wanted to order she rolls her eyes again looks me up and down and goes “do you know how much that costs?” I told her yes I’m looking at the menu and the prices right now. I felt so uncomfortable and unwelcomed. I left the place with tears of how horrible she treated me. If you’re Hispanic try some other place. This is not it. I drove 40mns. 40!

Not even worth one star. We were not acknowledged from the moment we walked in; the lady has an extremely rude and unprofessional demeanor. She was snappy throughout. The good was lukewarm almost cold, the meat was not tender. I will not recommend this place at all …the server is giving Africans a bad

I love coming here ! The atmosphere is nice ! The customer service is nice ! And the food is top notch & you get your money’s worth ! Most Restaurants give you smaller portions but here you will leave with To-go containers filled with left overs if you’re going solo !
