Excellent food and service. Really impressed with the Management. You have to be very careful with the salad bar, it is so good you'll be too full to enjoy the churrasco. We celebrated a birthday and were treated with a delicious tres leches cake, nice touch.

Me and my family went out to try the katy branch of guachos for we always go to the one at the vintage, since the vintage is a good restaurant we decided to try out the katy one. We had reservation and everything for we are about to celebrate my sister’s birthday. As soon as we go there the atmosphere for us was already kinda off, the host greeted us with frown on her face and awkwardly sat us down on our table, which we didnt mind since they are probably busy.
We continued with our dinner, everything was smooth but my mom (who doesnt eat any pink on her meat) only asks for well done. At first we asked for it, they were already kinda judging my mom which I thought was a joke but the servers tone was very insulting. They still went ahead and try to get it but, it took forever to come. We asked for 5 different meats to get well done but only 1 came. Then whenever we try to follow up the meats they would say “It’s coming” but never did.
Another thing is when they were giving us the ribeye, We were telling the server who is cutting the meat just a little bit and he kept giving us these huge slices. This didnt just happened once or twice but it happened for the whole table where in everybody says “just a little bit”. My brother in law even said “thats good enough” and the server had the audacity to say “Oh but I already cut it” as if its my brother in law’s fault?? then he still went on to give the meat as well. I requested some stuff too like the pineapple and I had to request it 3 times and they already took our plates, so it never came
We didn’t wanna ruin our night so we went ahead and just asked for the bill. I love giving tips since I myself works in a customer service industry as well. I know all the hard work they have done, but 20% ADDED GRATUITY for our bill is not up to par with our experience. I know it might be automatic for having a big party that night, but all I know is that it was the least amount of effort ive seen for customer service. This is the worst service Ive ever seen. Again, we always go the vintage location and they always give the best experience. Thats why Im disappointed with how bad the service was that night.
