Gongcha Katy is a fantastic spot for bubble tea lovers! The drinks are freshly made and you can customize them to your liking with different levels of sweetness and ice. The atmosphere is clean and spacious, making it a great place to hang out with friends. The staff is friendly and efficient, ensuring a pleasant experience. I highly recommend trying their popular drinks like the Dirty Brown Sugar Milk Tea. This Christmas, the shop has the cutest gingerbread-shaped cups, and my daughter insists on buying one to add to her collection. It's definitely one of my go-to places for a refreshing drink.

Came to Katy Asian Town this week, drank at Happy Lemon, Share Tea but this is the first time I came to Gong Cha next to H Mart.
I am extremely impressed by the attitude and behavior of the young lady at the cashier. She treated customers rudely, as if they had stolen her boyfriend. I sincerely want to let the owner know that this shop will close soon if this young lady continues to work at the cashier. Incredibly rude, absolutely terrible. This is the first time in my life I’ve encountered such rude service, and I swear I will never return.

I had planned on coming here and getting a buba tea and sitting outside to relax with my drink and to admire nature, well that was the plan. I walked in and was greeted by a lady over the counter. She was very friendly and attentive, she was very easy to talk to. I waited around 1 minutes and 30 seconds for them to make my drink. The person before me was talking to someone at the pick-up drink counter. After grabbing my drink, I went to tip them $20, I was going hand it over to one of personal behind the counter but they were busy. So I just put the $20 in the tip jar and left the store. There weren't much places to sit down and the only place with a view was the bench right in front of the store. So I sat outside to taking in nature and enjoying my drink. Somewhere between 2 - 5 minutes after ordering my drink some guy comes out of the store and tells me that he appreciated the tip I left, I found out he was the manager of the store and he had made me an extra drink free of charge. I was deeply grateful for this because it showed they go beyond for there customers. I was never expecting to getting anything out of it. I told him, I enjoyed coming here and that you guys worked hard. He thank me again and went back inside. I continue to sitting out for another 25-ish minutes before going about my day.

I could see people behind the counter worked hard so I don't regret leaving the big tip. This was to show I still appreciate the service.

The employees here have a bad attitude. My friend asked a question about the drinks. The girl gave her a mean look and also our drinks were not correct and too sweet. Mine felt like they put a hard small item in the drink.

Service and tea is amazing. If you’d like to study or get work done then you’ll find that the music is too loud.

Yum. Matcha cake and Boba black coffee. The perfect combo to get you started for the day! Remember they can adjust any drink you order for sweetness and ice. Just let them know how you want it

This area of town has a lot of tea places to choose from, so I picked Gong Cha. I'm glad I did - the taro milk tea I had was delicious. It was a bit crowded when I visited, but it wasn't too loud, and I enjoyed being able to relax in a smaller space.

Milk tea is fine, not as good as I expected. But they have many types of topping so it'll be less disappointed for me.

I ordered a large drink with no ice and the cashier lady said apparently they can’t burn the top of the drink if they don’t put ice in it. Also at other Gong Cha stores they always fill the extra toppings about half way through the cup but this store filled it just below the crease area. Horrible service.

Unfortunately, I am pretty disappointed in this location. I got excited but I saw the name Gong Cha, and was even more excited that we didn't have to drive somewhere else after going to the grocery store next door, but the milk in my drink looked like it was separating, like it was spoiled or something. My husband pointed that out, and I thought it was nothing so I shook it app and drank it and it tasted OK but both of our drinks pretty much had no flavor at all, and mostly ice. I got a dirty brown sugar boba and we also got a coffee drink with boba, the coffee did have a strong bitter taste, but nothing else. Neither was sweet, and neither was really good to be honest. I get a brown sugar or taro coconut each time and it's been the worst I've had. I would want to try them again, but honestly there's so many good places in this area that I'm not sure if I would waste another almost $20 on subpar drinks that are mostly just ice. The only good thing was the girl at the register was nice when taking our orders and bathroom was clean.

Fun place to have boba tea - only wish this location would replace their old games and cards.
