I have to say great place to sit and watch the kids play. But when it comes to service, and food. Oyster on half shell, whomever cracks them, more shell pieces with the oyster so you are spitting out shell pieces. When you ask are you famous for fish and chips and they say they're speciality, well of the three pieces ONE was CHICKEN, so not sure what they are serving. Lastly, timing from order to serving, everything was cold, I hate that a place like this can't get it right, as they have a great location, but!

We ordered 1/2 dozen gulf oysters and another 1/2 dozen Chesapeake bay oysters after Tristan our waiter recommended them. They were amazing! We then shared the catfish plate which they separated for us. The coleslaw, tarter and cocktail sauces are all homemade and excellent. Tristan was extremely attentive and helpful without being intrusive. We are from Arkansas but if we lived here this would be a regular place for us.

Yummmy!!!! me and my daughter came here. She ordered the kids fried shrimp and you get fried shrimp with either french fries or green beans and or broccoli and I ordered the crab stuff flounder and it comes with vegetables and it was a good price and everything tasted delicious. My daughter ate all of shrimp.

We visited Half Shells last night and the food was okay. I ordered the shrimp and crab stuffed flounder and my daughter ordered the kids fish and corn on the cob. My daughter is not a picky eater, but she could not eat the fish. When I tried it, I noticed how stringy and chewy it was. The restaurant did replace her fish with shrimp. We were thankful for how understanding the waitress and manager were. That is why I am giving the restaurant 3 stars instead of 1. My dish was just okay. The stuffing was runny and the pieces of crab were not as visible. Our waiter was kind and helpful and the manager was as well. The cook in the kitchen stared at us as we ate most of the time we were there. It was quite odd and frustrating. It was as if he wished we weren't there to begin with. There weren't any other customers dining in the restaurant due to how late it was. With that said the other servers and employees let us know how unsettling it was to have us come in 45 minutes before closing. We told the server that we were going to watch a movie and would be returning afterwards. They shared that it is totally fine and the kitchen would not be closing until the restaurant closed. With that said, we were rushed through our meal and my daughter felt so uncomfortable the entire time. It was quite disappointing. We will not be returning and would not recommend this restaurant

Nice little spot! This is the old Fish City Grill for those history buffs! Ambiance - 4/5 - Located in La Centerra Ranch, this is a good sized place that would be good for groups. Staff - 5/5 - Friendly, helpful, and patient. Food - 4/5 - What we ordered (didn't order too much): Sampler - 4.5/5 - Good ole fried stuff of Calamari, Fried Pickles, Shrimp/Crab Queso. Smokin Hot Shrimp - 5/5 - Recommend. Not too spicy, but very flavorful. Grilled Chicken & Sausage - 4.5/5 - Served on red beans & rice. Definitely recommend. Rainbow Trout - 4/5 - Lighter dish, so I recommend for those on a health kick. We really came here to just check out the area and grab a few drinks. We wanted to try other restaurants in the area as well, so we didn't really get to order too much. Overall, definitely glad we stopped by, and I see myself coming back in the future.

Our favorite place in La Sentera! Everything is wonderful here! Friendly staff! super service! everything is very fast! Everything you order is simply delicious) perfect combination of dishes and sauces! Frozen margarita is just fire! This place is very well located near the central circle where various events often take place! Children also play on it very well! I recommend!!!!!
Excellent fish and chips and blacken catfish. The customer service is excellent and fast. Best tartar sauce ever. Also the love the atmosphere and the park next door makes it a great location.

So this was a follow up visit as the last time we went, we didn't have a great experience so we tried it again. Well this time was spectacular. Food came out quickly and delicious. Look at the pics! We had the sampler appetizer and it was great. Hot and fresh. The calamari was crispy and the crab dip was very tasty with the chips and fried pickles. I also had a cup of gumbo which was also delicous.But the stars of the show were the entrees. I had the blackened mahi mahi with green beans and lemon rice and my wife had the salmon power salad. We both ate it all! Wife said it was a great piece of fish and I said the same. Pricing was excellent as those entries would easily be $30 plus elsewhere. Needless to say, we will be back. Thanks !

Our first time experience was phenomenal. The chef brought out sampler platters of soup and appetizers. We were only planning on staying for a drink but ended up ordering our meal there. The jalapeno chowder is out of this world as well as all of the soups that they have.Kid-friendliness: There is an open green space that kids can run around at while you're eating

Went here last Friday and never again but you would not care if you lose one business from us. Waited for 45 minutes for our main dishes to arrive. (If your kitchen cannot handle it, then please inform your customers to wait to be seated and give them a time frame for a wait time like other restaurants do). When mine came, the flounder fish is not thoroughly cooked because some parts are hot and some parts are cold. Immediately, told them to take it back and take it out from the bill! Ruined the night for us!

My mom ordered the catfish and shrimp combo and the shrimp was super fresh and flavorful. The customer service was great, the restaurant was clean and everyone was friendly.
