First time visit. Waiting almost an hour tonight but it wasn’t the restaurant fault. 7 large parties showed up tonight and only one was planned for. Screw the groups for not calling a head. The staff did a great job handling the situation. By the time we got our food it was hot and good. Definitely going back if in the area.

It's a great burger place. Family friendly, the playground area is perfect for young kids. It's always clean, prices are ok and of course food is awesome.
Visited Hat Creek Burger on Halloween night with a group around 8:00 pm. The food was good, with tasty burgers that hit the spot! However, the experience at the counter could have been better – the cashier (lady) wasn’t very friendly, which took away from the welcoming atmosphere. Overall, great food, but a little more customer service would make it even better.

I had a wonderful experience here. Having celiac it is nerve wracking when you worry about cross contamination but to know that all sides and nugget were gluten free it helped put me at ease.
Dietary restrictions: I have celiac and to know that all sides are gluten free along with gluten free bun, and chicken nuggets.

Came here a few time and they make pretty good burgers. One time their fryer was out so I got chips and queso instead and it was definitely a tasty upgrade. They have a nice playground if you come with kids.

I don't often leave negative reviews for the restaurants that I visit, mainly because I am not very critical, but numerous issues that occurred tonight were on a whole other level. Firstly, I have many qualms with the price. For 2 people who ordered two hat creek burgers (their version of a regular cheeseburger), a side of fries, fried pickles, and a shake, it amounted to $38.63, which would not have been too bad if the food was actually substantial, but there were not that many fries and the burger was quite crushed down. Secondly, it is extremely loud in the restaurant. A big, widely touted feature of Hat Creek is the play place that they have outside, as it's meant to be a space where kids can have fun as well as adults. Well, sadly, it doesn't work that well. The outside area is extremely noisy from the dozens of kids screaming, and the inside constantly has the hum of machinery that never goes away. Finally, the worst part has to be the service. Initially, when I went to order, two shakes had been ordered, but we only received one, so I proceeded to go back up and reorder since my colleague wanted a shake with her meal, and didn't get one. This is where the trouble came. I paid for the shake ($5.73), and we waited for ten minutes, but it didn't show up. Then, when I went up to address this concern, they said that they would give me a refund, but after about 10 minutes of that, we were told that we needed to move over because they needed to take the order of "other customers waiting in line." As of writing this review, I have not received my money back digitally, so I will update this if that happens. But for now, this restaurant has been the most disappointing place for a burger that I have ever gone to. Go somewhere else if you want better food, a better atmosphere, and better staff who actually care.

The burgers are good, fries are good, but the place is GROSS. The mat under the drink station stinks. Clearly has not been washed or replaced in a loooong time. Everything in the outdoor dining area dirty, every single time we go. Floors are greasy, tables are super sticky, chairs have clearly never been cleaned, high chairs never cleaned. Makes me want to just eat my burger standing up. PLEASE replace the floor mat under the drinks and give the outdoor area a complete spray down. It’s really gross

Went here for the first today time expecting something great from all the reviews. Well the food was ok and apparently the air conditioning wasn’t working inside today. Really made for a mediocre experience at best trying to eat when no ac and humid inside. Prefer Burger Barn over this over rated hamburger place any day.
They food is served to order and is hot upon delivery. The hamburgers are great!
