This was our first time trying the Katy location and it was a great experience! The staff was prompt, attentive, and so sweet to our toddler. The food was delicious, of course, and consistent with the flavor we’re used to!

Parking: It’s a busy shopping center so you might have to drive around a few times to find a spot!

This is my first time to have tried Honey Pig at the Katy location. I’ve tried the one at Bellaire, Tx. I liked the Bellaire location more than the one in Katy as the meat, japchae and cheesy corn were tastier and the meat were well marinated. There were waiters and waitresses that were much more respectul that the others and it was not consistent amongst the staff. When it came to bill, the waitress asked me why I tipped less. It came down to my experience: it wasn’t at par what I expected and customer respect is not the same accross. Some serves seemed to be annoyed that the rest if I had asked to repeat certain sentences. My friend asked if she can do to-go and the waiter snapped back : “what do you mean to go??” Instead of offering selections and or options. I had a waitress ask why I had not selected the options given for tipping and instead checked a custom tip, I felt disrespected. She told me the manager wanted to know and I simply don’t want to give her my review in front of many people as it was disrespectful. I just simply nonchalantly said none. I told her that it would be better to have a survey code that we can answer such questions and she told me that it would be too costly to adapt to such system.

To Honey Pig Katy, Tx: if you want feedback from your customers, please do it at a manner that is appropriate such a survey form or a barcode. Some customer’s don’t appreciate direct answers and I didn’t like the answer that your staff gave me. Had I not been with my friends and ruin the night, I would probably talk to the manager about it. I am disappointed and disheartened. I was looking for another good experience but it kinda ruined my night and expectation.

Worst Kbbq I have been to in Houston.

They sneakily charge more tips than you gave without informing you. It shocked me since I seldom check it… Pls keep the receipt until it shows the final transaction in your credit card statement.

We’ve been coming to Honey Pig Korean BBQ for over six months now—sometimes even a few times a week—and it’s become one of our favorite spots. The food is consistently delicious, and you can always count on the quality being top-notch.

They have a big selection of different cuts but it is typically beef, pork or chicken. We typically go for the beef brisket and short ribs, which are always cooked to perfection. The seasoning is spot-on, with just the right balance of savory and smoky flavors. You can really taste the care they put into selecting high-quality meats and ingredients, which sets Honey Pig apart from other BBQ places.

The meats are always super fresh and flavorful. The brisket is tender, and the short ribs are packed with that perfect mix of sweet and savory. Another thing that sets the Honey Pig apart is how they prepare and cook the meats. Depending on what you order, they use different grills and even different fire types to make sure every cut is grilled to perfection. For the galbi (Korean Short Ribs), you will get a bit of char and smokiness from preparation and fire they use to cook it.

There is also unlimited sides. They’re all seasoned to perfection, from the kimchi to the bean sprout, but our favorite is the cucumber and the fishcake. They also give you egg souffle and tofu soup, which my kids love. We don't even have to feed our kids when we come here because they love the food (both meat and sides) so much that they feed themselves.

If you’re expecting all-you-can-eat, this isn’t that type of spot. We've been to all the All-You-Can-Eat places (Handam, Jin, Gen, etc.) and those are taste great when they first open, but you can quickly see the quality and flavor drop significantly the next visit.

Honey Pig is more about flavor and quality, much like the KBBQ you’d find in K-Town LA or NYC (from places like Kangho Baekjeong). The price reflects the quality, and it’s well worth it.

They are also very attentive to us and our kids. They will cook the short ribs at another table, for example. They even give our kids balloons and lollipops and our kids look forward to eating here every time we mention it.

If you’re craving high-quality Korean BBQ with amazing flavor, you can’t go wrong with Honey Pig.

While the atmosphere was fantastic and the food tasted great, I wasn’t too satisfied with the portions. Our servers were very polite as well, but it took a while for them to take our order, and we didn’t see them much. By no means was this place bad, but I’m not sure if I’ll be returning as there are plenty of other great Korean bbq restaurants in the area.

I recently visited honey pig and was initially satisfied with the experience. The food was decent, and the service was acceptable, which led us to leave a generous tip for our server on the day of our visit.
However, I was shocked to discover that the restaurant later charged us an additional tip without any notification. This double charge was done sneakily and without our consent, which feels incredibly dishonest and unprofessional. It’s very disappointing when a business tries to take advantage of its customers in such a way.
I attempted to reach out to the restaurant to resolve this issue, but they showed little interest in correcting their mistake. This left a very negative impression on me, and unfortunately, it overshadowed any positive aspects of my dining experience.
If you choose to dine here, I strongly recommend checking your bill carefully. This kind of practice is unacceptable and has made me reconsider ever returning to this establishment.

This was our first time and this wonderful restaurant. We took our order to go and we enjoyed every single bit of food we brought home.
We ordered brisket and the meat was tender and savory. We also ordered Tteokbokki and the texture was perfect along with wonderful flavor.
Our other dish was the veggie bibimbap and all the whole dish was so delicious and fresh. The kimchi and all the pickled sides were delicious. We highly recommend this place! The dumplings were amazing too!

Vegetarian options: The vegetarian bibimbap was delicious and the vegetables and sauce were so fresh!
