I love this place! It’s my favorite place for halal hot chicken in the Houston area. Me and my family always come to howdys. We always get the howdys hot chicken sandwich in medium spice. The mild in our opinion is a bit too sweet. The loaded chicken fries are also very good. The fries are crispy and the chicken is always juicy.
Definitely better than UrbanBird off of i10. This was more of a traditional Nashville hot. Everything was fresh. I had the chicken tender basket in mild and it was sweet & hot. My husband had the sandwich (mild) and said it was one of the best chicken sandwiches he’s ever had. The chicken was crispy and well fried. Also the ranch was good, not that that matters to most but it does to me! The owner was super nice and made sure we enjoyed our meal. We will definitely be coming...
Had the Howlin’ Heat chicken sammich and added the mac n cheese on top. Sammich was delicious and chicken was crispy and juicy and the seasoning had a real nice kick to it. Inside was nice and clean and service was really friendly. The only down side was the waffle fries were old and when I went and took the ketchup cap off the bottle, I gave up on the fries all together and ended up only eating the sammich.
