My first visit , food was great and the older woman was nice to me. For my second visit, the young man working register and taking orders wasn't so friendly. I asked a question about the free egg roll when you spend more $30.00 he stated no .we don't do. I stated you may want to remove the sign.

Although it was getting late in the dinner hour, It appears this is a newly opened restaurant because when we arrived the parking in front of the restaurant was empty and upon entering other than staff we were the only ones there. They did have some take out orders while we were there. The atmosphere is quite basic and Spartan, however I am more concerned with getting a good meal than sitting in a highly decorated, cozy environment with terrible food.We were seated promptly, given menus and ample time to make selections. Our drinks came out immediately and Throughout the meal our glasses never got much below half full before the waiter was asking if we'd like a refill. After a reasonable wait for food preparation our order were brought to the table. The dishes were attractive, hot & freshly prepared. We started with moo-shu pork, which was very traditional flavor and quite good. The pancakes needed to be made a little tougher as these tended to tear easily, but they got us through the meal. The Sichuan Chicken was excellent with a good selection of vegetables and not the usual celery filler you find in most restaurants now. The portions were adequate, we actually had leftovers to take home.I can judge most restaurant now by one meal, meaning I wouldn't go back, but our one meal experience with Grand Wok was a very good experience and we will definitely return soon.Edit: we have now returned to the grand wok on several locations trying different selections on each trip. I can now recommend the wonton soup, jalapeno beef, Singapore rice noodles, flat noodles, sweet and sour shrimp and pork and garlic sauce. We didn't care for the chop suey or the sweet and sour chicken. The problem with so many chicken dishes is the white breast meat coming from this genetically modified poultry is tough and has about as much flavor as cardboard. However, that is not the fault of the restaurant.

This restaurant recently reopened so we got carry out for the first time this evening. The portions were huge, and the food was hot and delicious. Very reasonably priced. I ordered online, which was easy to navigate. This will be our go-to Chinese take out going forward.

After being introduced by a friend, I brought my family to this restaurant for dinner on Monday. The chicken fried noodles and General Tso's chicken pot are full of flavor, the fried rice with prawns is fragrant, and the white rice is very delicious. The waiter's attitude is excellent. I asked out of curiosity to find out that the chef in the restaurant has changed. Not only is he young, he is also very good. Thanks to his skills and efforts, I recommend going to this restaurant to enjoy delicious food.

I call 2 weeks ago to order some food from here as always and they let me know they were remodeling and opening back up later. I order today and they change their name from Hunan to Grand wok and let me tell you if your expecting the same quality, flavor food as before you will be very disappointed. I won’t be ordering again and this is from a long time customer.

I ordered a Chicken and Broccoli meal and it was super bland. No taste at all whatsoever. There was absolutely no seasoning cooked with this dish. Looked as if it was cooked in nothing but water. Please do not waste your money by eating here. Food is expensive enough. I’m not about to be wasting my hard earned money on places that doesn’t put time and effort into their foods when they’re a restaurant. Their reviews are better via DoorDash, which is why I chose to order from here but had I paid attention to Google Reviews, that would’ve told me everything I needed to know. Never again!

Honey walnut shrimp was good but the beef lo mein was gross; Meally, fatty beef. The crab puffs were not good and the fried rice was bland. The Human Garden sign was off and the restaurant was empty. I made a BAD choice to try them.

Upon my arrival, the establishment exuded an air of tranquility, suggesting a family-owned ambiance. Service was notably swift, with my order promptly delivered. I requested both water and a Coke; the latter had the distinct taste of coming from a can, and the water seemed to be from the tap, which wasn’t particularly alarming. The food, while decent, leaned toward the bland side, although this can be expected at times. Opting for the vegetables and chicken with fried rice, I found the menu options somewhat limited, and the pricing seemed rather steep in relation to the portion size. The overall appearance of the place gave off a somewhat run-down vibe, but it was apparent that the establishment was making an effort to maintain its standards.Considering the availability of closer dining options, I may not choose to revisit. However, it does seem like this place caters to a specific niche audience who may find it their preferred spot for a meal.
