The General Tso’s Chicken today was way too over-cooked (or old). Very hard to chew. Taste was just ok, the sauce could have been better. Hard to finish.

I have been to Jia Kitchen twice, the first time I went I got the walnut shrimp and it was so good I had to go back a second time. I went to get a bite to eat while my daughter was at a movie across the street with her friends so I was there a while. The food was again, delicious but I felt really creeped out by a guy who was standing there in front of me watching everything, including me. I was by myself and felt very uncomfortable. If he is the manager, then maybe he can walk around or watch from behind the counter but not just blatantly stay in one place the whole time.

The food has great flavor! It’s fresh and comes in a nice sized portion. I highly recommend General Tso’s chicken. Very tender and juicy.

Jia Kitchen is a great place to grab chinese/vietnamese food in Katy Asian Town. Huge menu and friendly staff. Food had big portion sizes, had to grab a togo box for both our meals. It was fairly priced too. Overall I would come back!

Never coming back here again! The manager was so rude!! My boyfriend ordered his food and I took a smaller plate to eat out if it, we went shopping in the complex so I still had my bags with me. He came over to me and said no eating outside food! I wasn't eating outside food, I was eating the food I ordered from here! He was very nasty, and kept gaving us nasty stares, so we can't share food? Just a very nasty experience and never want to go through this again

Very good. This had to be one of my top 5 in the area. Good portions and great flavors. Price is decent too, for the amount of food you get.

Worst experience! We ordered chicken soup and the chicken smelled horrible!!! I cannot describe the smell of it! I’m getting sick to my stomach just thinking of how nasty it smelled and Not only that but their kung pao Beef did not even look like beef and it also tasted nasty. We will never stop by this place again.

This place is fantastic.
I stopped by for lunch today as I wanted to try a new place in KAT. (Katy Asia Town)
I drove by this place and the windows pictures drew me in.
When I first walked in, this place was soooo cute! I loved all the bright vibrant colors and it was very clean.
I was seated immediately and got the spicy edamame and Bun Bo Hue or Spicy Beef noodle.
WOW so tasty. First off, never had grilled edamame. I was skeptical but the smoky grill with the blend of spices brought out amazing flavors. It was a nice little appetizer to start the meal.
The Bun Bo Hue was big portion, flavorful, and loved the extra cuts of meat on the side. You also get a huge plate of bean sprouts, jalapeños, limes, and cabbage! The broth was soooo flavorful I could drink it all day every day.
Yes, a lot of the bad reviews are the food was too hot. Yes my food was pretty hot (temp wise) but why would you complain about that??!?!? Just blow on it and enjoy the great flavors.
The service was fast, friendly, and very attentive. I was always swiftly taken care of and didnt have to ask for a thing. I also loved I got the full can of coke with a separate ice! A small touch a lot of restaurants don't think about. A lot of restaurants fill the cup with ice and either give an under portioned pour or half the can!
With the food, atmosphere, and great service I highly recommend this place and will be coming back!
Side note: If I had to list a criticism it would be the Bun Bo Hue didn't have pigs blood. However, I'm not upset about it. Any asian place I go to always ask if I want pigs blood and get suspicious when I say yes lol.
Just wanted to note it but absolutely didn't ruin anything.
I love this place I’ve eaten here for years and just never got around to posting but I am now! The service is always amazing, food comes out super quick and I have never had an issue with the food! I love this place highly recommend all the Vietnamese dishes!
