Worst experience! We ordered chicken soup and the chicken smelled horrible!!! I cannot describe the smell of it! I’m getting sick to my stomach just thinking of how nasty it smelled and Not only that but their kung pao Beef did not even look like beef and it also tasted nasty. We will never stop by this place again.

This place is fantastic.
I stopped by for lunch today as I wanted to try a new place in KAT. (Katy Asia Town)
I drove by this place and the windows pictures drew me in.
When I first walked in, this place was soooo cute! I loved all the bright vibrant colors and it was very clean.
I was seated immediately and got the spicy edamame and Bun Bo Hue or Spicy Beef noodle.
WOW so tasty. First off, never had grilled edamame. I was skeptical but the smoky grill with the blend of spices brought out amazing flavors. It was a nice little appetizer to start the meal.
The Bun Bo Hue was big portion, flavorful, and loved the extra cuts of meat on the side. You also get a huge plate of bean sprouts, jalapeños, limes, and cabbage! The broth was soooo flavorful I could drink it all day every day.
Yes, a lot of the bad reviews are the food was too hot. Yes my food was pretty hot (temp wise) but why would you complain about that??!?!? Just blow on it and enjoy the great flavors.
The service was fast, friendly, and very attentive. I was always swiftly taken care of and didnt have to ask for a thing. I also loved I got the full can of coke with a separate ice! A small touch a lot of restaurants don't think about. A lot of restaurants fill the cup with ice and either give an under portioned pour or half the can!
With the food, atmosphere, and great service I highly recommend this place and will be coming back!
Side note: If I had to list a criticism it would be the Bun Bo Hue didn't have pigs blood. However, I'm not upset about it. Any asian place I go to always ask if I want pigs blood and get suspicious when I say yes lol.
Just wanted to note it but absolutely didn't ruin anything.
I love this place I’ve eaten here for years and just never got around to posting but I am now! The service is always amazing, food comes out super quick and I have never had an issue with the food! I love this place highly recommend all the Vietnamese dishes!
Not good. The food came out at 1000 degrees. Burn the top of my boyfriend’s mouth. The orange chicken was hard. Don’t recommend.
Love their appetizers. The rice cake (soft inside), shrimp and pork steam dumplings (shrimp is not grind but in bite size piece), roti (good puff up pastry with a nice tasting curry dip).
The service wasn’t good at all. Not one time the server check on my table. I had to look for them but when time to pay it was lighting fast. I ate here a few times and tried different dish each time and they were ok nothing special.

we were shopping at H Mart and got hungry so we decided to walk around and see what we liked. When we got to Jia Kitchen the food looked good and the place was packed; both good signs
we started off with the roti and curry - the curry was good but the roti was too oily. we then got the veggie soup with thick noodles - the portion was huge and it had lots of veggies and lots of flavor.
i went with friends and they got more dishes including dumplings and beef dishes. portion size was good and flavor was great
overall good food with big portion size and big flavor
Went to dinner tonight, Christmas Eve. Ordered the Spicy Garlic Chicken and over half the plate was filled with onions. $15 for a plate of onions. Mind you, the waiters/waitresses were excellent, but paying $15 for a plate of onions was truly subpar.
Always a solid diner spot. Thanks for regularly accommodating my huge family!

I would have given 5 stars but the last few times I went I asked if I could get an egg cake instead of pork and the guy told me it would be 2.50 extra. How is it 2.50 extra if you're removing the pork and replacing it with an egg cake which is less? Also he said they couldn't because the meal was pre-made that way. I'm not quite sure if he misunderstood or I'm misunderstanding? Again, I asked for egg cake instead of the huge piece of pork. Today I went Again and ordered the same meal and when I got home I opned a meal I didn't order. The taste is delicious and I love the portion size but come on. I would recommend learning how to communicate better. I will go again because I really enjoy the flavor but I hope there's better communication. I recommend going here because the flavors are delicious.
Parking: The parking area is packed during the weekends. The weekday not so bad.

This is an amazing place for any family meals. This place offers so many options and a blend between Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine. The atmosphere is awesome, it's always crowded but we got seated and got menus in hands very quickly.
The service is great, a bit slower to take your order because they want to make sure your order is correct since they are always crowded. They typically check up on you for water and napkins without being over attentive.
The food is super quality and cooked to my taste. I've been to many Vietnamese restaurants and this place always makes the most consistent food and taste you can get.
The egg rolls are piping hot. It's crunchy and packed with fillings. Not a lot of shell.
The rice plate has plenty of rice and the toppings are well seasoned. The fish sauce is sweet and salty not too overwhelmingly fishy.
The wonton soup is light and each wonton has so much meat inside it's worth the money.
Overall, I would recommend this restaurant if you ever go to the Katy area.
