No frills name, EXCELLENT and authentic Mexico mexican food. To be clear, this isn't TexMex, the tacos were prepared and served like street tacos I've had while in Mexico. Was a pleasure to find this small place among the many other larger places that have great atmosphere, but just average food. Katy Tacos was well worth the value, and definitely the flavor and service. I highly recommend.

Or sure why this has a 4.6 rating. The slowest service, food is overpriced! Coffee isn’t any good, eggs were over cooked in Mexicana the salsa is t very good. The only thing good we’re the chips.The menu apparently has errors on it when we order the enchiladas when did they charge us was located in the kids menu that we had not even noticed when the bill came it was not itemized so I double checked because it seemed a little bit more expensive the way it should’ve been. Make sure you check the bill we were overcharged six dollars and I didn’t understand why luckily we got it corrected after two times of her having to add everything up correctly not a very pleasant experience in the field took forever.

Tasty and filling caldos. Love the excellent Posole and the tasty Menudo. Ready to try the soups. Friendly employees and clean restaurant. Want to try the lengua and tripa tacos but full from the Posole. Generous servings at fair prices.

Decor was basic/traditional. Location is hard to see/find. Where the old Sears hardware use to be. Prices were moderate and complimentary to Prices in katy. More expensive than say a more Hispanic demographic area would be. Food was prepared fast. We ordered the Katy Taco special, the enchiladas, and the mini tacos. Nothing to right home about but was good. The horcheta was excellent. I'll probably come again and try something different. On the menu and do another review.
