This was the worst experience we have had dining in forever. They missed our reservation, blamed me because I was supposed to know to call in addition to making the reservation online, then blamed me because they said they needed at least 2 hours notice (which I gave). We had to wait over an hour for the chef to come back during which time we were unknowing charges for every drink refill. The food was dry with little flavor but they made sure to add on a 20% gratuity which is not mentioned on the menu. Couldn't recommend avoiding more.

Not your traditional sushi. I feel like the sushi was good but too much stuff added onto the sushi (more so on the sweet side). The value for what we paid for, I think not worth it. Alcoholic drinks SUPER SWEET. Your traditional RAW sushi was THICK AND HARD TO CHEW. Props because the miso soup was AMAZING. My mother's steamed fish was too dry might have been overcooked in the oven. however, our waiter Paulino “Lo Hare” was AMAZING! If you get Paulino as a waiter you will be amused by his charisma and dedication as a waiter. He should get a raise in my opinion. Overall I'd give this restaurant 4 stars.

I don't gain pleasure in writing a bad review but this was not enjoyable. Sat at the bar, TV had a cycling food show which increased my hunger, as I waited 40mins for 2 rolls. Server was nice but was inattentive to refills and instructions. I simply asked that my drinks be separated from my food tab and it was forgotten. Cheapest roll was 14$, I got the tsunami roll(22$) and kioto roll(18$) and it compared to grocery store sushi. 10/10 would not recommend. The server was nice although she took the after meal survey by her self and gave her self an excellent review instead of allowing me to push the buttons, im 29, I can push buttons just fine. Resturant was not super busy, and they had a single person making sushi. He decided that instead of preparing each ticket as it was ordered, he would make all the sushi at once and drop all of them at the same time making servers scramble and people like myself wait 40mins while others waited 8min to get food. I sat next to the screen with fire times. Honestly an embarrassment. Total spent for 2 rolls and a single cocktail was roughly 70$ not including the tip. My pity for the server got her 22% on my food tab and I could have literally grab my own plates and got 1 single refill of water. Don't come here.

Although I think the decor is excellent I expect food that is the same. The service was good but it still doesn't make up for bad food.

My daughter ordered the Suzuki Bento Box. The row sushi and dumplings were good although there was no gyoza sauce. The deep fried sushi roll was not good, not good at all. We had to ask what fish was in it. Turns out it was yellow fin tuna? It tasted fishy and old and was discolored. To me, it appeared to be the blood line of the fish that surrounds the spine before the fish is cleaned. If the fish is not cleaned properly or the fish gets too old, the darker part of the meat takes on an offputting flavor.

I ordered the Shrimp Bento Box. It came with sushi. The center of the sushi had an undetermined white encrusted something, deep fried and then centered in the middle of the roll. It also tasted old. My rice was good as was the two very small shrimp (measly). I was not served tempura sauce with this meal.

Our meal also came with an imitation crab slaw. It was good but uneven. My slaw had enough crab to taste, but my daughter's had almost zero crab. She didn't know it was a crab salad until I mentioned it.

All told, I got the feeling this wasn't owned by Asians. I didn't see any Asians in the resteraunt. Now, don't take this as a slur, but if you're going to serve cultural food not of your culture, you need to do it well. I am very disappointed in this place, especially given the 4.6 rating from 1,700 people. Google Reviewers, you've let me down a second time this year.
