Good food closest to my home. It's not consistent. First 2 visits were good but 3rd one was not good enough as they changed the pattern of serving our favorite dish. When asked they disowned the previous serving pattern on hot plates.

Through Uber eats I had ordered the okra curry from them and found a baby roach. I’m pregnant and got so disgusted. Normally I don’t write bad reviews but this one I simply couldn’t pass. I have already reported this issue to Uber eats.To the owner, since you didn't see my order I had to submit more photos.

"Thank you" for 3 stars is courteous however there has to be a concern about not getting a good rating! The staff was attentive and place was clean. I did not like the food that much because it was not an authentic Indian food; it was more of Indian-american style food, mainly due to the use of less spices. For some people it may be a plus for the same reason.

Seems some of the best food we’ve had since our visit to DC. Strongly recommend

A great place for Indian food in Katy! There aren't many Indian places here (which is a big surprise for me given the Indian population here), but even if there would have been, Kurry Walah would have topped it! We wanted to try as many dishes as possible since it was our first time, so we ordered the thali, which is kind of a sampler for two (I think it would have worked even for 3 people, the portions were that generous). We ordered a lacha parantha on the side and boy, it was awesome! The masala chai was strong (in a good way), good to keep me awake for some time! The service was great too and the ambience is cozy. Honestly, cannot think of any reason to deduct even 1 star. Highly recommend this place (coming from an Indian)!

Kurrywalah prepared the most delicious and amazing takeout dinner for our family of 6 last night including a bottle of wine! Everything was meticulously prepared and easy to put together for an at-home gourmet meal. We decided that a meal this special deserved sitting at the dining table, so we pulled out the real china and silverware. We started with a Chicken and fish pakora with warm Tandoori bread and butter, with butter chicken and some veggie stir fry accompanied with a hearty and tender lamb dish. We finished with some really good dessert to end off the night!

Excellent food, great service, and friendly staff. Visiting from out of town and ordered takeout to serve 20 people. The food was amazing and everyone loved it. Deepak, the owner, goes above and beyond to to ensure his guests are satisfied.

They say the menu prices on google are different to what they have in their menu.. just ripping off people and very rude attitude with customers.. never going back to that hole again

I found this spot while visiting my mom last year. We both love Indian, and it's close by. I've had takeout twice, and it's delicious. Last night we had the lamb korma, chana masala and garlic naan. I went back for thirds. I cleaned my plate. The curries tasted so complex yet approachable. So satisfying on a gloomy day. I will come back next time I'm in town.

Love Kurry Walah! We got this order to go and it was great. Previous times we've always dined in. Excellent, underrated Indian. Get literally anything.... It's all good. My fave is the chicken tikka masala.

Such nice and hospitable staff! The food was great! I asked for my goat vindaloo to be spicy and the chef did not disappoint at all!!! Great play between spice and flavor. Definitely coming back with more friends. Keep up the great work. Mango Lassi was everything!!!!!
