Tried Indian food for the first time! Very good experience for this restaurant! I got the very spicy butter chicken (amazing!) garlic and regular naan (yummy!) rice kheer (light coconut rice dish yummy!) samosa (yummy vegetable dish) and the mango lassi (refreshing!) Would buy again!
Been eating here for many years (mostly takeout) and has been a favorite of ours until recently. Level of service and friendliness has declined (phone orders and checkout). We will be looking for alternatives.
Ordered 4 plates. Tikka Masala was good, butter chicken was just ok, but the Vindaloo was horrible. Dishes are way too small. I would say closer to lunch portions at best. Service is average.
Best Indian food we’ve had in awhile! We got the non-veg sampler for two and it tasted amazing. I usually don’t like saag paneer but it was really good here. All the staff were super friendly, they even gave us a free dessert for our anniversary! We will definitely be stopping here next time we come through Katy.
Second time weve eaten here. First time takeout, second time lunch buffet. Price of the buffet is excellent - especially now with inflation. Quality is awesome! Good variety of vegan and meat offerings. Will be interesting to see if they change uo the menu on the buffet. Well be back a lot. Service very nice and toddlers eat free! Excellent experience
Loved the food it was very flavorful! Service and dining in experience was great! Would definitely come again and recommend!
I've been here twice and it is the best Indian food in the SW Houston area! Everything was tasty and flavorful. The service was great (assuming two sisters in front) and amazing chef. Everything on the menu is amazing. Highly recommend! I ordered: egg biryani, butter chicken, saag paneer and. garlic naan. Food is great! Plenty of parking. And they accept all types of payments.
What is this place several times and the food has always been on point. The staff was not too friendly, but I guess there might have been a language barrier? Overall though, a great experience.
Best Indian food in Katy! Staff and owners are always hospitable and friendly. My toddler son was very busy and all over the place while I was waiting for my to-go order, the owner took pity on me and threw in a free bottle of wine to help with parenting ;) Food is always delicious, hot and well prepared. Thanks Kurrywalah, keep up the good work!
I started getting takeout here a couple months ago, and my experience has been mostly good. Keep in mind, I always order a Chicken Tikka Masala, so that's my frame of reference.Good flavor, I recommend medium spicy for lunch. It was always good, never great. But my last trip something was off. Didn't finish it, didn't feel well afterwards. A fluke maybe, but I haven't been back since. But that could have just been a bad day in the kitchen, and if that was a fluke and things are back to previous standards, then definitely try it for yourself.
Absolutely delicious!!!!!!!! And the service was fantastic too. Can’t wait to go back and try something new. Grateful they’ve reopened!
Don't forget the lunch buffet. The usual suspects: butter chicken, paneer, basmati rice and more. Many veggies dishes. All very good. I wasn't disappointed and you won't be either.
Best Indian in Katy hands down. Everytime it's amazing. You have to try the e onion bahji appetizer, it's fried onion, sooo good. My dad is from United Kingdom so they have a lot of curry houses there, and he is used to food quality Indian food. He loves this place and recommend it to me. I always get the tikka masala curry spicy, it's always amazing with big chunks of chicken. LOVE it! Comfort food
So GOOD. Really amazing food so much flavor! Very very fare prices ! Best Indian cuisine I have ever ate !!! Me and my husband have already returned back after a week to try the lunch buffet. We also have already recommended to several of our friends. Thank you!
We tried to go and eat there tonight and they had PLENTY of seating available. They told us we needed reservations even though they had at least 60% tables empty. I don't think they liked we were wearing jeans and not dressed up. Very disappointed and felt judged
