The owner/chef is AWESOME! His food is fresh and he cooks with love. My favorite dish is made SPECIAL REQUEST ONLY . If you love sausage and peppers at Italian restaurants then you will love his version of it in pasta form. If you don’t like a a great flavored red tomato sauce then this not the dish for you . But if you love penne pasta, red tomato sauce, fresh sliced Italian sausage, fresh green and red peppers , tossed and coated perfectly on a bed of pene pasta 🍝 then REQUEST the “Pasta-ALA-Kyra.” Parmesan cheese on the side. Thank me later.
Disclaimer- Do not order this dish if you don’t like flavor or like Italian sausage.
I highly recommend trying the sausage and peppers dish first then come back and REQUEST Pasta-ala-Kyra. This dish was a collaboration with two foodies who love flavors and food )
They have good bread as well.
I also recommend the chicken parm.

What a Gem!
I set out on a little mission to celebrate my husband’s birthday ,a week of treating him to hidden gems around town. La Estancia turned out to be one of those rare treasures you stumble on and immediately want to keep secret. From the moment we walked in, it felt like discovering a warm, familiar place you hadn’t known you were missing.
A quick heads-up before you go: if you’re hoping for wine, bring a bottle. Because the restaurant sits so close to a church, they aren’t able to sell alcohol. It didn’t dampen our evening though, just a small, easy-to-remember detail.
The food is made entirely from scratch, and you can tell. Plates arrive with a kind of thoughtful patience that’s worth waiting for; nothing rushed, everything prepared with care. Each bite was a little revelation, the starters, the main dishes, even dessert were layered with flavor and warmth. We loved everything we tried.
By the end of the night, my husband and I agreed: La Estancia is a place to celebrate, linger, and return to. Perfect for a birthday treat or any evening when you want something truly delightful.

Get details if you’re a group! Beware!
We went in a group of 5 couples on the recommendation from one of them. The menu was limited but good. The service was slow but the food was very good. The prices were exorbitant, though! My wife and I had a salad, a main course and desert. Water for drinks. The bill was $178 with a 20% tip and an extra 5%(?) for paying with a card.

Absolutely horrible, 73.00 for one person, veal marsala???? Menu price is different from what they charged. Charged our group for bringing in a cake. A/C set on 80 degrees. Italian restaurant that could not offer lasagna or meatballs and spaghetti. Blamed the computer for price difference in broken english. No concept of customer service. That's why parking in always empty!!!!!

I have finally found great spaghetti carbonara in Texas. Took nearly a decade. If I had Italian grandparents, this would be their restaurant. Homemade, wonderful food. BYOB--also just like my imaginary Nonna's home would be, with the Three Tenors singing in the background.

A true hidden gem in Katy TX, across the street from the Senior Center on 5th Street. The owner and chief, Peppino Veleze was raised in Sicily, Italy. His grandmother taught him to cook. The food he prepares is exceptional!
Do order a salad or appetizer to savor while Peppino is preparing your meals. All meals are individually prepared when ordered, hand crafted with love – the only way to prepare fine food! He truly provides a feast for your Palate!
Be sure to try any of the Veal dishes especially the Veal Siciliano which is a special order item. Do bring your own bottle of wine to savor with the meal.
Do not be put off by the rather plain exterior as the décor inside is traditional Italian. You are treated like family which only adds to the overall experience.
If you love Italian food, do make it a habit to dine there often! We do.
Buon Appetito!!

Ac was off. They had fans. The staff was nice, the food was really good. Nothing above and beyond or unique. It's still good, though.
I don't complain about the food price, I feel like it wasn't overpriced. But over $4 for a 16oz. soda bottle as drink....um...no. being your own drinks, and you're good.
Come here for food only, nothing extra. They don't give any bread or anything while you wait. Get your food and go.

Amazing food! Great place for a home made meal!
This was a pleasant surprise, we were in the area from out of town; catching a game at the stadium. My 14 y/o found an Italian restaurant so we tried it instead of getting stadium food. The food was amazing! Highly recommend and it’s BYOB for wine, I did not know this existed in the restaurant world.
Excellent food!
The food was absolutely delicious and the owners are very kind!
Went here for the first time with my girlfriend and we both knew that before we even sat down we would be leaving an amazing review, the restaurants atmosphere is amazing with its low lighting and candlelit dinners and the owners who make and serve are extremely sweet and very quick and attentive. The food is just as amazing and tastes so authentic and I’m so glad I picked to come here for our meal.
