Small place, the food was better than I expected. One of the plates had a strong smell at soup; they immediately replaced the plate without hesitation. I guess I would rather have a plate that was "extra washed" than dirty.

Food was fine. My mango juice was delicious. Service was good. Ambiance was so so. I like watching MMA at home but not at a restaurant. Price was reasonable.

Disappointing Dining ExperienceMy recent visit to La olla left much to be desired in terms of culinary satisfaction. The whole red snapper, a dish I was particularly looking forward to, turned out to be a disappointment. Sadly, it was overcooked to the point where only half of it was palatable, robbing me of the enjoyment I had anticipated. To add to the letdown, the fried green plantains seemed to have been precooked and fried upon order, resulting in a lackluster texture and taste. It was evident that the kitchen's attention to detail was lacking, which reflected poorly on the overall dining experience.Unfortunately, my disappointment was echoed by others in my party, who also found their meals to be subpar. While [Restaurant Name] may suffice for those seeking a quick and basic meal, it is evident that their seafood options leave much to be desired. In summary, while La olla may serve its purpose for a convenient grab-and-go meal, I would caution against expecting anything exceptional, especially when it comes to their seafood offerings. Exploring alternative dining options in the area may yield a more satisfying culinary experience.

Great customer service, food is always great! I ordered the whole fried fish and had the coconut lemonade ( a must try). There are several locations to choose from and ao many different dishes to try. Go check them out!

They disrespected consumers, I bought 2 lunches for 12 dollars with something, the soup is given in a small glass and they also give less than half of the glass badly served.low category that restaurant no longer serves

Great food at good prices- but this is authentic, not fancy, not foodie. Speaking Spanish is a plus, which we don't, but the staff is super sweet regardless! We had GREAT seafood dishes, tasty empanadas and good portion sizes with the best plantains I've had in Houston.

I ordered a beef soup and when my husband picked it up and brought it, it was chicken, I called to ask what had happened and they told me that the beef had run out and they gave me the chicken one without first alerting me.

I was originally craving a bandeja paisa and found this spot with its amazing reviews. The photos looked great and the decision was made to eat here! There's a decent seating area for a strip mall restaurant and it's open seating so we grab a menu a pick a table. After sitting down and looking at the menu, I opted for the Sancocho de gallina. My partner got the bandeja. We started out with empanadas and that's when the red flags started. First, the salsa comes out in a small open jar; you can see this has been used before as there were crumbs from previous meals. Then I had a bone in my chicken empanada. Moving on to the main dish - the food is visually appealing. The flavors in the bandeja were good however more red flags. 1- the food is not hot. And this goes for the entire meal. Just like momma bears porridge, cold. My sancocho was also barely warm which is not expected when ordering soup. I was also surprised to see a whole quartered chicken in there. So it was NOT fun having to take the chicken apart. Shouldn't have to work hard at eating soup. Overall, service was relatively slow but friendly. The prices are affordable. Food is visually appealing but questionable.

How am I now just reviewing this place? I've been to so many Colombian restaurants in houston and this by far is my favorite. My favorite dish is the bandeja paisa; you truly cannot go wrong with that plate. I usually order take out and they are super fast. Also, I love how friendly they are. 5/5
