Traditional Nigerian food, I am pleased as the reality met the expectation. Reasonable price and great portion size. Food tasted very good.

I visited this restaurant two years ago and unfortunately did not enjoy the food. I decided to give it another chance recently and ordered the jollof rice. Unfortunately, I had a similar experience.

The portion I received was the same as shown in the picture, but the price was $12, which felt too expensive for what I got. In addition, the rice was cold, very hard, and tasteless.

I was really hoping for improvement after two years, but I left disappointed once again. I hope the restaurant considers feedback seriously and works on improving food quality and value.

Ordered Designer stew “ofada” today but for got red stew delivered. No big deal mistakes happens. Called the restaurant to confirm if their designer stew was supposed to be red stew just so next when I place order I can be sure. She said nope your stew isn’t red stew it’s supposed to be black. So I ask her are you saying I’m lying ? Her response was “oh well I’m just telling you there’s no way you would get red stew well im not the owner so” when I tell you I was so shocked I just hung up and door dash refunded me. Attached is the picture of the red stew I got. Which she never agreed to.

This was my first time trying this place and I am so disappointed. I've had edikaikong many times in my life and that was not edikaikong. You need to remove that dish from your menu it had no taste, no meat, just leaf and water. I am from Edikaikong state so I can say this with my chest, that dish did not taste the way it was supposed to at all complete false advertising. I paid extra for goat meat and got no meat just bones, am I a dog?? Don't waste your money here if you want to try authentic Nigerian food make the drive and go to Wazobia or Rodo cuisine instead at least they can cook.

If your goal for food at this price is for sustenance then go for it but if it is to enjoy Nigerian food and its essence, RUN!!!
Whoever wastes the ingredients used in this kitchen needs to walk away. Their effort is mediocre.

For the only restaurant is the area, it is shockingly terrible! You would expect way better so that patrons return. Do not take any chance; hike to Houston.

Visited today and it was so welcoming!
I have wanted to try Nigerian cuisine for years and the owner was extremely warm and friendly. She gave us some tasters of a few different dishes available and they were all absolutely delicious! Very helpful and even talked us through the health benefits of a few different soups!
We tried the beef stew and the Egusi soup alongside the poundo... it tasted absolutely amazing and I can't wait to visit again to try more of the tasty dishes available! Thank you so much!

I normally don’t like to post reviews, but this place needed it. I’d like to start off light by saying the food was absolutely RANCID. I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy rancid. The space was extremely small and the food i ordered was incredibly oily . They could’ve used that oil to make a whole other pot of rice, but they didn’t. The food is not even close to what it’s being advertised as. The tables were incredibly sticky as well. Don’t let this place ruin your view of Nigerian food!! NIGERIAN food is good. This place is NOT Nigerian.
