My wife and I came in on a Saturday for lunch. The hostess seated us with lunch menus (essentially one page for the food) and we made our choices fairly quickly. And then we waited to be greeted. We noticed two servers serving others around us but nobody greeted us. After about 10 minutes we asked the hostess if our server would be coming and she then went to the kitchen and then told us he would be with us soon. When he arrived a couple of minutes later, he took our drink order and delivered the drinks and then took our order. We had two bread plates on the table and presumed we would get some bread before our meal. No bread. When he delivered our food my wife asked what the plates were for. He said they're for bread. Ok. He asked if we'd like anything else and I said I'd like some more tartar sauce. No more tartar sauce was brought. As we ate our meal I noticed our server kept mixing drinks behind the bar. Putting 2 and 2 together, we figured that he was the bartender put into service as a server. Then some more people came in and sat at the bar and he was back to bartending only. That's fine, but who would continue to assist us? Apparently a woman that had come out the kitchen door a few times before and had looked at us without assisting the bartender and then proceeded to finish us up (manager?). We paid, tipping the bartender, and left. The reason why I went into detail is because as a former F&B manager I knew they were shorthanded. The manager on duty should have assisted from the start. The bartender was overwhelmed, and I don't blame him for the lack of service here. I do blame management for either not scheduling enough servers or for not responding to the situation sooner. I like Landry's, have been going there since the 80's, and will continue to go there in the future. But if it would've been my first time there I probably would not return since there are others in the area more than willing to serve diners in a timely manner.

The wait was really long to get our drinks and the bread took even longer. The food was outstanding!! The wait on the other hand was super long and by the time we got the food, it had already been an 1 hr. Overall, if you want to wait a long time for your food, then go here. If not then i would recommend to go somewhere else.

We had to have the best and most patient waiter in Landrey's business! I hadn't been there almost a year. I also had 4 of my young adults and we all were hungry for some different and desired at same time. The waiter was so eager to accompany out table with all the people he had in his sectionI was pleased and the food was hot and neat on the plates! I was pleased and my children with me to celebrate my Birthday were also pleased!! Thank you Landrey's ❤ ❤

The weekday lunchbox special for $15 is a great value, and our server was bend-over backwards-nice and happy, adding a lot to the atmosphere.

I ordered shrimp and fish for lunch . When I arrived to work ... no fish at all. They do not answer the phone so I could even talk to them about it. I just won't go back . Expensive and incomplete order.

This place is a disaster. Two days in a row they didn't have the cinnamon breads pudding. Food is mediocre. The chicken and sausage gumbo had a few tiny pieces of meat that you had to chew very hard before swallowing otherwise you would choke to death. The crawfish etoufee was a tasteless gruel. Both days hardly anyone dining- should have told you something.

We wanted to eat seafood and decided to try Landry's since it is easily accessible. We ordered stuffed mushrooms as appetizer, broiled Sea Bass and Crawfish Etouffee. Glad we made the right selection because all of them tasted delicious. We also enjoyed their mocktails (non-alcoholic beverages). Like the atmosphere. Will come again.

Our waiter Jose was excellent .He gave us excellent quality service. Jose made my wife's birthday celebration wonderful. The food was excellent too.Jose just makes everything better. Our group had a blast yesterday.

Went for the Easter brunch and was disappointed. Some of the hot food was cold. The food was unseasoned and had little to no flavor. For the price paid, not happy. We didn't get our money's worth because we didn't enjoy enough to get seconds. Also, for a buffet, only two desserts. ☹️

Really disappointed. We have been coming to this Landry for !any many years. It continues to get worse. They had the buffet. Most items were stone cold. Chicken gumbo ? Who want chicken gumbo? Most people want seafood or shrimp but either way there was almost noting in the pot except for rue and lots of rice next to it. Deserts were a joke . there was.a.cobbler that.was.all gone and the bread pudding was soggy with not sauce to put on top. But to top it off the waiter was horrible. The best service we got from him was when we asked for our check! That only took almost 10 minutes to get. We tried to get our Landrys points we gave him our phone number and he didn't get that right either. Luckily the manager of the dining room was there and got it handled. Not use to getting this type of an experience from a Landry restaurant!!! Just a bad experience. Looks like we will have to find another place to eat at. Oh by the way the restaurant was definitely not that busy

We decided to eat at Landry as we have so many times in the past and the food was delicious at the end of our meal our waiter decided he wanted to ask a dumb question about who we were dining with he seen a table with 3 white ppl and 2 black ppl and asked well how did yall get this group together it was so offensive now after she paid the bill and we were sitting there appalled because you have a waiter who was most definitely making all of us feel uncomfortable if these type of ppl you have working for you same on yall I have been a Landry select member since the beginning I have eaten at your restaurant since god know when and this type of behavior was out of line needless to say we will not be returning as paying guests in your establishments I am a black woman who felt racially profiled and my boss who is a white woman felt the same train your staff better and make sure they have manners and respect

We’ve been there twice, didn’t learn our lesson the first time. We go because our friends invite us to get together for a meal there because it used to be good long ago but even they said they had the worst experience in our last visit there last week. Our waitress was trying, we appreciate that, but the rest of the staff seamed rushed and panicked. Something definitely not going right with the staff. The price of the food is WAY over what it is worth, especially considering the experience you walk out with. No thanks.
