I loved the place, and also the decoration of the place is he only thing is that they didn't had regular tapioca and it's a boba place and also didn't have matcha, and they also didn't have like other ingredients~ but they just started! Still great place loved it!

The milk tea was decent but if you want to mix flavors sometimes they say they cannot. I've never heard that before? Also don't go if you don't like the little boba. I almost choked several times from the tiny pieces.

I come here regularly to study, hangout with friends, grab a quick drink, etc. I love the lighting, vibe, decor, and overall theme of this shop, and it’s never too busy so I can study without any problems! Many of my friends don’t like Lava Boba since it’s too sweet and complain about the fact that they don’t have the traditional black tapioca, but personally, I have a really intense sweet tooth and love sweet things, and was getting tired of the traditional tapioca. This place is perfect for pictures, and is within walking distance of my school, house, neighborhood market, etc which makes coming here an easy decision! My only real concern is that it sometime takes a while for my drinks/orders, but it doesn’t bother me since I’m never in a rush anyways. Overall, I love this place! I’ll be sure to come back regularly!

So I'm not sure why I recieved some creepy email from them asking for money, it's an email they sent through fivestars, an app they use at the store for rewards. I don't appreciate that at all. I used to go to their shop a while back until I moved so I recieve bonus rewards through that email every once in a while but I'm not giving you money, "bro."

Very fun place!! The egg waffles is really good!! Love the unicorn ice cream it taste like fruit loops!! If you take the coupon from the back of an H-E-B receipt you can get a discount there, so don't forget your coupon!! The staff is very friendly everything is super clean we had a really n time!!
First experience wasn't so great. The staff weren't very friendly, and it seemed like they didn't know what they were doing. I ordered 3 bubble waffles and it took them about an hour or more to make them. The waffles were decent, but they're a bit over priced. Also the person making the waffles didn't take sanitation into consideration. She did not have her hair up and it was getting in her way when she was making our waffles, I also noticed that she didn't use gloves even when she was touching the food. Overall, I don't think I will be coming back.

If i could give 0 stars I would. My husband and I where there on Sunday we order 1 tea which was given to us right away, and 1 waffle by it self and a waffle cone with icecream. The young lady who was helping us gave us a sample of this ice cream and was not wearing gloves, a young man came in from his break we assume and did not wash his hands, right after he walked in he started working on our waffles and was handling our food without gloves and without washing his hands prior. We are very disappointed at the type of service that we recieved and we will never be coming back. We ended up asking for a refund and we ran out of there. The place is filthy and they do not clean any of the equipment.

It was my first time here and I ordered the Rose Oolong Milk Tea. There were a few things I saw today that I didn't appreciate, first of all the assistant manager was very impatient. She said "hurry up and order already" I just avoided her. Then when I got my drink, it was like Luke warm water. A few minutes later my stomach started to ache within just minutes drinking the milk tea. I also didn't appreciate how the assistant manager said "hurry up order already" that was very rude! Horrible costumer service...I also asked for a cold drink and mine was Luke warm, they didn't add enough ice. Therefore, that's why I got a stomachache due to the drink not being cold enough. Never coming back!

Besides the fact their bubble waffles and tea are terrible, they organize obnoxious and unsafe car events late at night. Huge groups of people drag race in front of the store next to a junior high school, several neighborhoods, and a church, and the managers of Lava Boba are unapologetic about it. I called to ask about the event and the person at Lava Boba acted as if they couldn't understand why my family might not want to hear revving engines and peel outs for three hours or get hit by the drivers running red lights for races.
