We keep trying this place because it is close and not consistently awful, but I think I've had my last meal from there. I placed an order twenty minutes online before I showed up (while masked up to keep my flu germs to myself), and when I got there, it looked like they had not noticed my online order. (It wasn't like it was super busy and running behind - it was pretty much empty the entire time I was there.) Rather than explaining the situation, they told me it was "almost ready" about five times over the twenty minutes I waited in their empty restaurant. I would have canceled the order if they had been up front with me because my main purpose for ordering there was to get my food quickly because I was sick, but they kept it to themselves. After listening to them argue in the kitchen, finally my food came out. I'm not sure if it was the soup or the flu that upset my stomach, so I'll just focus on the service issue here.

We used to love this place but the last order wasn't good. Shrimp fried rice was burned and had a scorched taste.

Horrible experience, the chicken and shrimp was undercooked and had a watery flavor .the rice was gummy .called the restaurant to let them know something is terribly going wrong with one of the cooks the guy on the phone didn’t care just put me on hold and left me there .absolutely the worst Chinese food I ever had,was not edible .

I really wanted Won Ton Soup and some Ribs for lunch. I started scouring the Grubhub and doordash app for places. I also googled and looked on yelp to see reviews and such. I ordered through Grubhub and my food came in about 45 mins. I started on my ribs first. They had a great flavor but were a little bit too tough for me. The Won Ton soup looked really weird. I have never seen it come with Veggies but hey Veggies are good. When I tasted the juice, it was very bland and did not have the flavor of Won Ton soup at all. The wontons were mostly just the noodles. There were only 4 actual wontons and they were not filled at all, just a vey small amount of Pork in them. I was already dealing with the weirdness of the soup, but for it to be mostly noodles was a huge let down.

This place was good at first! Tonight they served gushy and gummy combination rice. The meat was very gushy as well! Nasty! Stay away!

Extremely dry Lomein... no vegetables very little shrimp. Disappointed.Coworker got the sweet and sour chicken she said it's "ok." Probably won't be returning for lunch. SMALL LUNCH SPECIAL PLATES.

The one star rating is for the service only. Prices on the menu are INCORRECT, expect to pay +$1, $2 more than listed, TAKE OUT ONLY, NO DINE IN.Food was okay, I would give the food 3/5 stars. Ordered the sweet & sour combo, beef & Broccoli, Szechuan fish stew and special wonton soup. All were flavorful, and well seasoned. My husband and I, along with our two children found a table and sat, looking forward to dine in and enjoy good food. We were the only customers. The employee at the register greeted us from behind the counter. The employee didn't offer us menus and didn't tell us where they were located. My husband looked around and found them along the left wall. We ordered four plates at the register, paid and sat back down.We were a little confused at the total, it seemed like we were possibly overcharged. My husband approached the employee at the register and wanted to confirm the price of the plates we ordered. The employee said the prices on the menu are incorrect. It would have been nice to be informed of the current price or have the menus replaced. So be aware that some dishes might be $1, $2 + more.My husband sat back down, we waited a few more minutes and the same employee comes out with our food in a to go bag. We were incredibly confused. There is no mention that this restaurant is take out only. The employee was incredibly aloof and not helpful at all.Ling's restaurant is definitely not recommended, unless maybe you get delivery or takeout, but I won't be doing that. I don't want to give them any business.
