Went and picked up a takeout order after a long day at work. Food was ready five minutes before predicted, restaurant was very clean. This review is mainly for the two staff members working the pick up register at 445pm on 4-22-2024, they were so kind and so so thoughtful. Absolutely made my day.

Excellent food. Love the service and friendly staff. Resto was slightly outdated. It was a bit difficult to park as there were several spots that were reserved for the adjacent shops. Overall great experience and amazing food.

Excellent overall Mexican food. I'm typically there for fajitas chicken, beef, and shrimp. They make a great old-fashioned or frozen strawberry margarita. Although they too have had to go up on their prices in the last few years, the prices are still reasonable. The wait staff always seem to be very happy and positive and service is excellent.While the food and service is the same at both the Old Katy and Katy Mills locations,I like the atmosphere and acoustics at the Katy Mills location.For some reason the acoustics at the old Katy location cause a lot of echo. Even the wait staff many times have to ask you to repeat your order as they have a hard time hearing as well. Kind of like an echo chamber.They probably need to have someone come do an acoustic treatment to absorb some of the sound bouncing off all the tiles.

I’ve been coming here for over 20 years and have always loved the environment here. However I believe it’s time to finally part ways with the Los Cucos due to the prices of the food. I know I cannot be the only one noticing where this place started and what it is now.

Been going here for 9+ years.The food when you dine in is way better than ordering it to go, trust me.Besides that, the food is amazing! both kinds of tortillas taste good and have a great texture. The food isn't that greasy and it fills u up (Even the kids meals)Speaking of kids meals, they are really good for a kids meal !Kid-friendliness: REALLY good kids meal. Get the fajita taco

I had the Quesabirria tacos. Mine came with white rice not the advertised beans but the tacos was what I was really after anyway. They were so good! Tender meat the sauce was good rich and full of onions and cilantro. You get three but I had to call it quits after 1½ becuase I had eaten my fill of their chips and salsa. Both the red and green sauces were great but I would drink the green by the gallon full if I could. I paid close to $18 for my meal and have enough leftover for lunch. Service was great too. Not too pushy but very friendly and helpful. Highly reccomended!
