Luce Avenue Coffee inside HEB is a must visit for coffee lovers! The barista is welcoming and clearly passionate about coffee, recommending their signature Black Island.
The drink had a smooth, earthy vibe from the charcoal powder. The creamy mix of coconut milk and half-and-half are balancing the drink with a gentle richness. It’s creamy but not too heavy, and the espresso shots add a much-needed layer of depth and boldness.
I’ll definitely be back to try more, but Black Island has already won me over!

Wow, I was impressed with the Mountblac coffee that I got. What a cool place with lots of different drinks! They have Matcha too! I love how it’s inside H-E-B. The staff was super friendly and took the time to explain the drinks for me. The drink looks so pretty and even better. It tasted amazing, see my expectations. I would come back!

Disappointed. Their original location is better. I ordered the matcha and it was not good. I’ve had it plenty before at the houston location and it was better quality there.

AHHHMAZING! Super staff who definitely know their trade. Tried the Black Cloud with Almond milk that uses black charcoal mixed in espresso. Taste buds in love. Agave sugar is just right. Flavors don’t overwhelm the smooth coffee taste - Guatemala Brazil. And located inside HEB means parking and everything else you possibly need.

First started going here I was happy to find another good coffee shop. Very handy being in the grocery. We used to pick this place for our coffee and sometimes breakfast. All the original people are gone and I cannot get a good cup or food. Either not filled up or way watered down. This morning was the 4th and last chance hoping it would get better. It did not. Doubt it'll ever get better.

Super friendly and awesome service from Rooney and Skye. I absolutely love the Black Forest and iced matcha lattes from here. The Black Forest is my #1 go-to.I recommend it to all of my friends. I refuse to go anywhere else now!

I was assisted by a barista named Rooney that helped me choose what drink to get despite all the indecision on my end. They were extremely professional and kind and were able to assist me in picking a drink that was suited to my tastes. Some average baristas can’t do that. I got their new summer special Shooting Star thanks to them. They were extremely delightful to chat with and made it feel like I was talking to a family member or friend. Not to mention the drink they made was really pretty and cute as well. The area is clean and their location is very tiny. There’s no WiFi here, but you could certainly use the HEB guest WiFi to do a little work while your partner shops.

Kid-friendliness: Baristas are very kind and talented and work great with children and indecisiveness
