The Katy H-Mart supermarket food court— Market Eatery —is a must-visit place to explore delicious Asian cuisines. It has Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Filipino, and a couple of fusion Asian-American restaurants. The food court has many tables and countertop seating. The prices for many dishes are very affordable, and there is no tipping involved as the foods are ordered at the counters, and you pick them up. You can ask the restaurants for a water cup and get your water dispensers. Or buy drinks from the refrigerated station. Once done eating, take your trays back to the restaurant or put them in a return stacked cart for return trays. After eating, you can go grocery shopping in the market!

Not really authentic nor very tasty. I guess it’s good for Americans.

Love eating at the food court here! You have a choice of Chinese, Korean and Japanese all under one roof and the food is great!!!! My fav places are CaoBao and Jang Geum. I highly recommend checking out both!

Highly recommended! The food is amazing, the costumer service is spectacular, and the place is beautiful and unique! My favorites are too many! Start with roti (to die for). Then hainanese chicken, mango chicken, and Malaysian fried rice are my favorites! Please bring some desserts!!!!

We went in on the third day they were open and it was fantastic! Food was fresh, hot, and delicious. It also came out quickly for how busy they were. Hung out at the bar waiting for our table and had the Malaysian Sling, and it was AMAZING! Josh was a fantastic server and gave us advice on portions and made great recommendations. He even chased my husband outside after he forgot his sunglasses on the table. Every staff member from hostess, bartenders, servers, etc. were great! 100/10 would recommend!

Would not recommend their “award winning” beef rendang. The beef was plentiful, but full of fat and gristle. The sauce was very oily, but flavorful. The chicken satay appetizer was delicious, and the service was good. A very noisy restaurant, so not ideal for quiet conversation.

Love Phat Eatery! The food is amazing and the staff is friendly and quick. You have to try the Roti and the Beef Rendang, melt in your mouth and it’s so tender!

The salad is rotten.

This Malaysian restaurant is located at one of the many strip-malls in Katy. The building is modern and the dining area is divided into smaller areas to make it appear cozy. Service was friendly, informal and prompt, but very basic. There was no attempt to clean the table between courses, although sauces had d bee spilled and a little wipe would have been welcome. Interesting cocktails and juices. We shared all plates and the meal was enjoyable. We started with Roti (an Indian flat bread with a delicious curry chicken dip. We also enjoyed the Kerabu Prawns, skewered large prawns with pickled papaya, mango peanuts and toasted sesame. While it is advertised to come with a light spicy sauce, we didn't detect the kick. The Salt and Pepper Calamari were crisp, flavorful and slightly crunchy: delicious! The Mango chicken was a winner, with fresh mango, bell pepper and onions, also in a light (Spicy?) sauce. Beef Rendang (shank) was served with a coconut curry and chunks of potato. It was reminiscent of Hungarian Goulash, but with the addition of coconuts. Beef Hor Fun was our final choice: savory, although less memorable. Stir-fried Organic green beans and stir-fried Snow Pea tips made for delightful vegetable accompaniments. Overall, it was an enjoyable family dinner, with flavorful food and generous portions. The red peppers on the manu suggesting spicy food are not reflected in the dishes.

I can't understand why people like this place. No flavor. The beef tasted boiled then thrown in some rice. Pork shrimp dumpling tasted fishy. I would never go back.

The restaurant had a great outdoor seating area with beautiful views.

Visited on a Monday night around 8pm. Little before 8pm. Even though hours are posted as 9pm close more than half the restaurants were closed. While eating watched other customer interactions, by 830pm ish all but 2 or so restaurants closed. You can just put 830pm close rather than 9 and make customers find out the hard way. Or get workers with some work ethic that won't slack. Workers didn't seem to have much of customer service and didn't care about the job. All the tables were dirty and had food crums and drippings on every single table. None of the workers seemed to care since it's not their own table. This Hmart needs to step up on food court management. Probably the dirtiest Hmart food court ive been to.
