They served both of my sandwiches on hard, stale bread. I won’t return as I’m not going to risk it happening again. 😢

Midway Barbecue offers some of the best barbecue in Katy.

A Katy gem. It would be nice if they played some tunes. Prices are very reasonable.

Ordered over the phone. I got the baked potato with 1 meat. Apparently they have two menus online with different pricing for their items. Baked potato with ANY meat says it’s $10.95 on one menu and the other says it’s $12.95($13.95 if you want meat to be brisket)…. Won’t be going back to a place that can’t even get their menu listing correct.

I had a sliced brisket sandwich. It was dry, crumbling roast beef. No real smoke flavor at all, just dry chunks of tasteless beef. Very disappointing. Save your money. Go somewhere else and eat real smoked BBQ brisket.

The potato’s with brisket, bomb.com. The ribs a bit dry on the outside & kinda small but good still. The people are awesome, it’s clean and I love that is very kick back!

Great service and even better brisket! It falls apart and melts in your mouth. And the bbq sauce is simply perfect. 5 stars all the way around! Thank you Midway BBQ!

First visit, new to Katy, TX. Cashier stated, out of ribs; the gentleman on the line stated, I have end pieces left. I told him, I love end pieces. Cashier- I can’t sell them, they’re out. This dude sold, what you thought was unsellable (hidden talent). Then my plate sat behind the counter while a staff member (just standing observing her hands) directed me to sit and wait for someone to hand it to me. Getting up and down causes me back pain. 🥴 The line guy heard this then, place my food in a bag and kindly handed it to me. OUTSTANDING! He probably bent a rule or two to provide me with outstanding service. Every restaurant is selling food, service is what separates the great from the okay. I recommended Midway to family and they enjoyed the experience. Why did I go in the first place? Navy Vet⚓️ Battle of the Midway

This place was so good! The portions are plenty and everything is so good. I got the turkey and it was juicy and flavorful. The creamed corn was great. And the sweet potato fries were nice and crispy!

The good reviews are people who’ve been eating here a long time and can’t get over it or either paid a whole lot of money. We ordered 2 lg. mashed potatoes for $7 each and they were completely bland, no salt whatsoever. The gravy was one small container for 2 lg sides of potatoes and seemed like the cheap Pioneer brand you get in the little pouch. The supposedly half a chicken was comical. One teeny tiny dried up leg, thigh with 3 bites and a very small breast and the rest bones to appear like there’s meat. Turkey was meh. I live right down the road and everything was cold. Please don’t waste your money here in this economy.
