I think Midway has alot of good things going for it with location and the lack of bbq places around. I thought the brisket was good but I thought the ribs were dry and it seems like they were pre cut and left like that in the heat. The sausage was great and sauce as well. Very open dining and parking was not a problem during lunch.

Food had no flavor and the potato salad had a bad taste to it. It could of been better.

Exactly what you’re looking for when you think TEXAS BBQ! Dined in with my family, wasn’t too crowded on a Sunday afternoon. The staff was friendly & attentive. Though it’s a bit pricey per person what you pay is absolutely worth what you get, the portions are amazing, and the flavor is beyond great! I’m gonna miss that original cream corn recipe it was stellar!
Best BBQ in Texas IMHO. The servings are generous. The brisket is moist and has a nice bark. The BBQ sauce is on point for sure. Sadly, I don't live close to this establishment; if I did, I'd eat here often.

I've visited Midway about a dozen times, and each time the food has been excellent. But I just can't get over paying high prices for food presented in plastic dishes with plastic cutlery.

Last Friday I went for a meatless potato, and seeing how delicious it was, yesterday I went for another one and it seemed like I bought it in a different place, what a disappointment.

Midway BBQ is an absolute gem in the world of barbecue. From the moment you step in, the aroma of smoky goodness fills the air, setting the stage for a truly mouthwatering experience. The menu boasts a variety of options, from tender brisket to succulent ribs, each cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The sides are equally impressive, with classics like coleslaw and macaroni and cheese complementing the main dishes perfectly. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it the ideal spot to gather with friends and family for a satisfying meal. The staff are friendly and attentive, adding to the overall wonderful dining experience. Whether you're a barbecue aficionado or just looking for a delicious meal, Midway BBQ is a must-visit destination that never disappoints.

Absolutely DISGUSTING!! The CHICKEN FRIED RIBEYE and the SOGGY FRENCH FRIES are GROSS and they won't change the DR PEPPER in the machine. Only had wait 30 minutes for and it cost 20 dollars don't come here!
The cashier, and servers were friendly and attentive! The food was mediocre at best. Brisket was dry. Ribs were also dry. The bbq sauce helped. The chicken was the better part of the meal. Green beans tasted off?. Pinto beans had no flavor. Potato salad tasted bland and more like sour cream than mayo or mustard..lacked flavor. The creamed corn was just OK. Daughter had chicken tenders fries and Mac n cheese. She had no complains.. the batter on the tenders was bland but I guess that's what ketchup is for. Husband compared this to Miller's BBQ..if that means anything to anybody.Sorry won't be back and would not recommend:(

BBQ brisket sandwich was fairly good. Don’t believe the bread was fresh. Brisket a little on the tough side. No pickles available. Apparently staff overlooked refill on pickles. Good atmosphere. BBQ had a good taste but too tough for a sandwich. Fries very good and fresh.

It was just ok. Not my thing. The brisket was cold and dry. The chicken didn’t have a lot of flavor. The salad was fresh and they do make their dressing. For what you get the prices are good. But it’s not for me.

I have had BBQ all over Houston and this is hands down the best BBQ I have had. The loaded baked potato and the Bricket sandwich are 2 things I had and I can't wait to come back to Houston just to eat here again. WOW. If you are looking for great BBQ, head here immediately. Great service and clean restaurant.
