Nando's PERi-PERi

This rating is a joke. My chicken wasn't even fully cooked. I expected the skin to be crispy based on how long I had to wait. The sauce must be the seasoning because without it, it's flavorless. The peach alcoholic beverage up front is pretty good though. The guy at the register seemed overwhelmed and all over the place.

Holloway and Alizay were absolutely wonderful! Both were so professional, friendly, and patient. It was my first time ordering, and they took the time to explain everything and make sure I got exactly what I wanted. Their great attitude made my visit such a pleasant experience. Thank you, Nando’s team — I’ll definitely be coming back!

I thought Nando's was only located in South Africa, so I had to try it while I was in Cape Town last month. Someone on the trip told me I could find the sauce here in the states, and possibly a restaurant. Well, I found one!! And it was just as delicious!! The restaurant was beautifully decorated and had it's own vibe, and Victoria was super nice and helpful!! I definitely recommend it and I will be going back again! Next time, I'm going to eat there in the outdoor seating. It looked very inviting.

So Nandos in Katy came to Texas childrens hospital this week and bought the whole hospital lunch! The food the service just amazing..Really appreciated that..We will be coming to the restaurant alot..thank you

We love nandos. Service is phenomenal. But, im not sure if they were short staffed or had a low stock. Our server let us know our wings would take an extra 10-15 minutes. Cool no worries, at least we know it will be fresh. Our wings showed up basically white/pale. We ordered medium and hot. The wings were ‘gummy’. As if they were baked then quickly thrown on the grill to get the grill marks, might i note, were on only one side of the chicken. We couldnt finish due to how unpleasant it looked and the lack of flavor. Thankfully i feel fine but my husband has ‘bubble guts’. Wont be back for a while or will visit the other 2 locations instead. Thankfully they sell the sauces in store so we can make our own.

Came here a couple weeks ago and got the Rainbow Bowl and PERi-PERi Chicken Bowl. The bowls were good but it took 40 minutes to get our food. We had to go up and ask about our order because no one came to check on or update us. I did see other tables being checked on because they were apparently missing food and waiting long as well. Good food but overall a very disappointing experience.

I stopped by the new Nando’s Peri-Peri by 23501 Cinco Ranch Blvd Katy, TX 77494
United States and it definitely lived up to the hype and it did not disappoint! I ordered the ½ chicken (medium spice) with peri-peri chips and garlic bread, plus a mango limeade. Big shoutout to Nathan on the register recommending this meal and the amazing staff cooking.

The chicken was the star—grilled to perfection, tender, juicy, and packed with that unique peri-peri flavor. Medium had just the right kick without being overpowering. The peri-peri chips were crispy and seasoned really well, and the garlic bread was fresh, buttery, and a perfect complement. The mango limeade was refreshing, sweet but balanced, and tied the whole meal together.

For about $24, it felt like a solid value given the quality and portion sizes. Service was quick, friendly, and my order was ready right on time.

Overall, this was an excellent first experience at the Katy location, and I’ll definitely be coming back to try other spice levels and sides. Highly recommend if you’re craving flavorful, flame-grilled chicken with a twist!
