Old Chicago Pizza + Taproom

I absolutely love eating here. I did place a to go order. I didn't like the fact that the lady working the bar stated that she wouldn't get me a cup of water that I ordered until my order was ready because the to go cups were in the back but she was getting everyone else's drinks. Other than that the food was still good and I would get something to eat there again. I would just hope she wouldn't take my order again.

Screens are too high can't see them from the bar.No deep dish pizza any more. Pizza is dry not enough sauce.Service is great. The staff are professional and attentive.Beer selection is hit and miss. No fat tire or land shark.

I love the selection of beers available here. And the pizza has just the right amount of sauce and delicious flavor. I’m never disappointed.

Good place to go for a decently priced lunch special. $10 for a salad with a 2 topping personal pizza. Get Chicago deep dish, hand tossed, or thin crust. I'm not sure if the cauliflower crust is part of the lunch special. The pizza is good and the salads are fresh. Sometimes, service is a little delayed at lunch due to lack of staff but the staff are nice. They do have a patio and multiple TVs if you want to watch a game.

It was my first time going here and I am definitely going back! The service was great and the food was awesome!

Amazing veggie deep dish pizza! The wait is about 30 minutes for a to go order and prices are in the $30's for a deep dish veggie and a soda. Floor in restaurant wasn't as clean as it should have been. They were short staffed with only the bartender attending to the entire restaurant.

Me and my father ordered meatball subs.They were okay. They were a little small and the bread felt like it was smothered with garlic butter. Couldn't really taste the meatballs. Nothing stood out to make the sandwich good. It wasn't bad it just wasn't good.On a 1 to 10 scale I'd give it about a six.The service was good and the place is pretty cool.It has a pass through window that allows you to sit out on the patio and still be served from the bartender directly.

So delicious I absolutely loved their spaghetti and meatballs. Super delicious and will be returning. The meatballs have perfect seasoning and tastes perfectly with the spaghetti perfect ratio and great sized plates for the price. I was craving spaghetti and they delivered on that craving ❤️ plus the decor inside is awesome!

Pizza was awesome, nachos are fire! This place is beautiful and pretty. Austin was our server his customer services is 5 stars. Thank you so much!

Great place to enjoy a delicious pizza! We got the pizza rolls for an appetizer and they were tasty! Then we shared the Farmers Daughter! Food was hot, fresh, and yummy. And the drinks were strong!

Great pizza and selection of beers

Cheesesteak was extremely dry and had no real cheese to speak of. No peppers as advertised and actually tasted like old meat. Definitely not fresh meat for sure. Ordered a side of sweet potato fries and the portion was tiny first of all and basically thrown into a small paper bag. Way undercooked which basically, when I received them were wet sweet potato noodles. They may have been fried but definitely undercooked. Didn’t receive an order of ranch We paid for. The calzone, to be fair was good. Wouldn’t recommend at all. Lastly I ordered through door dash abd over paid for the food in the first place since they make it a habit to bump up the prices on the door dash app from the actual menu prices from the restaurant. So after all the extra fees and all that 1 calzone and one inedible cheesesteak sandwiche cost me $52.00. I normally wouldn’t even bother with a review but this was ridiculous. Someone needs to know how bad this situation was. I called the and spoke with a manager and she even admitted the cheesesteak sandwiches are dry and don’t have much cheese. And actually had a laugh about it. She’s the one who added the “avocado” to my sandwich which tells mr]e there not real quality control there. I hope the owner of. This establishment knows how bad the service and food is coming out of their restaurant. So after overpaying and tipping our door dash driver very well, I get to eat a bologna sandwich for my money. At least it isn’t as bad as that cheesesteak.

The service was great. The atmosphere was great. The food looked great. But was terribly disappointing. My coworker and I went here for lunch. We payed together over 40$ for this. Her wings were half done. she stayed it was like trying to eat a rubber band..her waffle fries was so very hard. I tried to eat one. She threw her whole meal away. So I split my pizza with her. We both agreed for 40 dollars we should just eat something. That was are first time going there and are last. I wish we could really get are money back.. I have spent Sometime in Chicago.and the only Similarities this place has with Chicago is the name.

saw it online while on vacation and thought we would try it out. food was great!! will return in the future. service was great!!
