Don't feel like driving into Houston for Pappadeux, Orleans is a good option. Fried offerings are delicious. They normally have Snapper, Mahi, Catfish and Trout. Crawfish season is pretty decent. Several good pasta options, chicken, pork and beef. The bisque is awesome, gator is delicious and the etoufee is really good.

Overall good restaurant. It can get crowded on the weekends or during sporting events and live music nights but the line generally goes pretty quick. The only reason I deducted a star from the service is because ordering alcoholic beverages can be cumbersome when crowded due to having to go to the bar to get those drinks and wait on the bartender to recognize you as if you were in a full or bar or club environment, which is not ideal. If you could order your drinks and have them brought to you table that would be better. Oh and the bar area often seems to have a more slippery floor so be cautious.

Pro tip, if it's crowded when you go in please begin reviewing the menus they make available while standing in line. This makes the service go faster. Oh, don't forget to try their desserts because they are all delicious.

Didn’t get a chance to take pictures but the food was great as always! I usually do the red beans and rice but decided to try the blackened chicken with the crawfish sauce and it was pretty good. We also ordered the grilled posters and they were amazing!

We started going to Orleans Seafood Kitchen back in 2010 when we lived here. We moved out of state in 2017 but make Orleans a must when we are traveling back through.

FOOD: It doesn’t matter what you have, it’ll be some of the best Cajun food ever. We’ve tried it all! Catfish Orleans is my favorite along with the pistolettes or fried alligator. The etoufee is always excellent. Their muffulettas were great but I think they did away with them. Their gumbo is Cajun good and the best! Red beans and rice are a great way to go as well!

SERVICE: The service has always been good! It used to be that one of the owners was always there but I didn’t see either tonight. But we were treated very friendly and always have been!

ATMOSPHERE: Going to Orleans Seafood Kitchen always gives a good Louisiana, Cajun feel. It’s easy going as the place is wide open and even has outside dining. One walks up to the counter to order and is not attended to at their seat. Tonight, we were there til closing (10:00 PM) visiting an old friend and never felt rushed by the staff.

We have taken so many people to Orleans over the years. Our friends couldn’t understand why they passed 2-3 Pappadeaux’s to go here until they ate here. Some even went back and ordered a second plate in the same visit! It’s a great place for Cajun style food! Today, we flew in a day early to make sure we could go visit the best Cajun restaurant!

Food here is good if they have it. When a large portion of your menu uses bread you really should never run out of bread. I'll stay going to the fulshear restaurant.

Sorry, not impressed. Cheap prices, cheap presentation. The blackened shrimp had no seasoning whatsoever. I asked for butter and got movie theater butter. basically I could have made a better dish at home. Presentation is like the school cafeteria served it. Maybe the drinks are the draw because the food simply ain't it. Service was decent but this is definitely one to skip if you're looking for excitement.

I’m leaving this review because of Cameron, I have to admit he is awesome! Very kind , professional and cares about making sure the customer are happy! A few time I have came to purchase food and experience hair on my food Cameron did everything possible to make sure New Orleans keep a customer! Most managers can care less about weather your happy and continue to support their business but Cameron showed how much he appreciated me as a customer
He brought out my food himself to make sure it was good. Because of him I gave you guys a 5

When I come to Orleans, I mainly come for the Sauteed Crab Fingers! They are delicious, tasty and meaty! Their other seafood is good as well! Service is always wonderful, the atmosphere is pretty laid back and quiet when I come but I hear it can get quite live during happy hour and later in the day.
