Pampa Bar & Grill Katy is a true Argentine grill with authentic cuts of steak, seasoning on point, and great wine pairings. The atmosphere is family-friendly and welcoming, and guests are not pushed to finish, allowing them to take their time and enjoy. The skirt steak with its sides is delicious, and the Entraña sandwich with outside skirt steak cooked to perfection is paired with portobello mushrooms and arugula. The tomato basil empanada is to die for, followed closely by ham and cheese. The bread is made in house and is incredibly tasty. The food is filling and full of flavor, especially the mushrooms and hand cut fries. Drinks are really good, especially the sangria and mojito (even virgin). The service is attentive, and the bartender is very attentive but does not hover. For large parties, the staff is extremely organized, taking orders and serving silverware and dinnerware efficiently, with food arriving in 15-20 minutes. While the grilled chicken dish had great flavor, it was dry and overcooked. Overall, the portion sizes are huge, and the food is good.
