When you leave a restaurant to pay 72.00 plus for a caesar salad and a pizza one has to question ethics. Prior meals at this place also left us feeling ripped off. We are restaurant goers so we are not new to the game. We'll pay - but this place is obscene. Buyer beware. Their food is good not great. Come down a notch or two on how you view yourself - Not sure this place will make it and cost is the prime reason....

Great dining experience. Staff is friendly, professional and helpful. Newest additions to the menu enhanced selections and were excellent. Good choice for special occasions.

I just visited this restaurant to celebrate my son's birthday and ordered the tomato basil soup. Unfortunately, I found a piece of plastic in the soup. Please be cautious about what you are eating. I didn't expect such a mistake from a restaurant .

This is my second time visiting Pane e Vino, and it was exceptional once again. I went on a Friday, during the day, between 2 -3 pm, where they offer a special lunch. For $29, you get to choose from a salad or appetizer, an entrée, and a glass of wine. Since it was my birthday, I received a free, delicious double chocolate cake that was to die for. Our server was so welcoming and made us feel special. I cannot wait to bring a friend or family member to experience this newest restaurant in Katy, with a 5-star rating in food, ambience, and customer service.

My dining experience was fantastic! The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The food was excellent. I had the squid ink spaghetti and it was truly delicious. The environment is upscale enough to dress up but also relaxed enough to dress casual for a lunch. Highly recommend!

New favorite Italian restaurant! This is just what we were looking for. The decor is beautiful and set the perfect mood for our meal. The pasta was so fresh and cooked to perfection. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The wine menu is impressive. Would highly recommend!

This place is amazing for a neighborhood spot! Its unbelievable. I can’t believe Im not in the city. Today’s my third time here and everything Ive tried for food is AMAZING. Jonathan is professional and a great server. I highly recommend! Ill be requesting him in the future…… If you haven’t tried this yet, you’re missing out!! Today I had the gnocchi w/truffle. It just melted in my mouth…..

My husband and I went here to have a romantic evening just the two of us without kids, only to get food poisoning right after leaving. The food flavor and presentation were there (even if the food portions were cut in half, since last being there) but something made me sick and I am not one with a weak stomach.

On top of having gotten sick right after, we went for a romantic more quiet and kid free evening. However, there was a young man who arrived during our meal who came into the establishment and had to SLAP handshake/hug every team member working. He even went as far as to interrupt an entire table to say hello to either a friend or fellow co-worker serving that table. Was very loud while visiting with them and we were just super thrown off by it. Definitely ruined the ambiance.

The service from the first time we ever ate here to now, was awful. We asked our waiter about the wine choices only for him to say “I don't know let me ask”. We still bought a bottle of wine, only to be disappointed in his guidance. Staff was friendly, but they seemed to want to socialize more than work. We couldn't find our waiter at some parts of the evening and the tap water provided, YUCK! I wouldn't even let my worst enemy drink that. I understand you want us to buy your overpriced bottled water, but goodness the tap is awful!

All that to say we were very disappointed. We used to love eating here for special occasions and special family nights. But I guess the hunt is on for a new place.
