So happy to have found and tried this restaurant! Fair warning, other the prices for item beat other Venezuelan restaurants, it's still priced as a luxury. Think Starbucks pastries. Tried the shredded chicken and shredded beef arapa's. They come with delicious white cheese! But also with mayo and ketchup normally. Unless you love ketchup and/or mayo, recommend ordering that on the side for your first time. I grew up eating them without Mayo, or ketchup. Finally, try...
Maria was a star, recommending the mandocas and explaining how they’re made—crispy, sweet, and absolutely delicious! The pastelitos were top-notch too. Her warm service made my visit unforgettable.
The reason for my review is because of the person (a woman) who served us. And I must say this as a business owner. The staff you hire should be kind and respectful. Her attitude immediately struck me as annoying and defiant. It wasn't pleasant, so I went to eat and pick up more groceries. But I didn't feel like it anymore, so I went to Pasteles Edward... where I was welcomed... the empanadas saved the day, they were amazing.
