First timers... we had the "Backyard Burger with fries, the "Heart Breaker" the MacnCheez and the Oreo CookiesnCream Shake. First is was a refreshing option to have an all vegan Fast-food joint.because the few that Houston has are so spread out. It was like a chill spot... which was really cool. Service was friendly and really good. Kudos to the lady that helped us behind the counter (I know... but I forgot her name). Are food was really good and hot. The MacnCheez.... not a fan sorry. It's not the cooks fault.. they cook with there given at times. The burgers , fries were good. The Oreo cookies-n-cream shake was awesome. It felt like we were really eating a burger. We will be back. The staff will get to know us.

This location won't honor coupons that are sent out on email blasts from corporate office = we are sick of walking into your restaurant & being told we can't honor any coupons/specials = you have lost a family of customers! Shame on you guys!

Pretty good except last time they gave me three "milkshakes" with lids too big for the cups. I made one turn around the corner and they all spilled. The mess wouldn't have been as bad had they given me lids that snapped on properly.

Omg, I was so shocked that our food was not real meat! It was delicious burgers and fries were delicious. The poor girl was working really really hard but she needs help! Waited so long for our food but it was worth it

Food was good and so I gave two stars, but I did a pickup order and it said 15 minutes. The order took an hour and 15 minutes. I go to the south congress location all the time in austin and whatever that manager is doing over there, they 100 percent need to come up here and do a training

Great food and service! I LOVE having a vegetarian option that even the meat lovers in my family love! The Nashville Hot and their shakes are awesome! They also have a great assortment of fountain drinks. The food is always hot and fresh, highly recommended!

Where do I freakin begin... this place was beyond fire!!! We ordered a lot: original chicken sandwich, buffalo chicken sandwich, loaded fries, Mac n cheese, tots, cookies, and 3 shakes: wow!!!! Holy vegan heaven. It was so legit the chicken was absolutely delicious & better than chick Fila. The loaded fries were so perfectly prepared and were delicious. Mac and cheese was a little tangy and delicious. The ice cream shakes rivaled with sinfully delicious and the cookies went hard. Thank you Ashley for helping us in our Epic Vegan Mukbang... I pray that there will soon be one near us, it's so sinfully delicious!!! Let's freakin go Project Pollo.

This is not health food by any means, but if you're a vegan who wants a burger and fries every now and then, this place is perfect and just as good as any traditional fast food place out there. The chicken sandwich meat even pulls apart like real chicken. My kids loved their burgers and tots shaped like Tetris pieces. We are mostly whole food vegans, but when we're craving fast food we will be coming here.

The food is a good fast food option for vegs. However, the wait is horrendous. Last time, I got trapped in the drive-through line for 48 minutes! It's good, but fast food and drive-through should not take as long as a sit-down meal.

And here's why it's a zero: At home time ticked by it was 8 pm I'm alone tonight, thought I'd pop out and try a vegan place as I did not feel like going to the grocery store - looked up vegan restaurants- Up pops PROJECT POLLO sounding like a chicken place I had to read the small print to see it was indeed vegan. The Drive was 35 minutes and 30 miles from my farm in Tomball. Yikes GAS and time - but - I decided to treat myself to a delicious dinner out as the advertising clearly said open until 11pm and I figured I'd arrive around 9 pm. Arrived at just gone 9, 9.04 I knocked and pulled at the door - but it was closed - all locked up, it was really dark inside - the lady did one long wave at me as if to usher me off - it was then I read the small sign that said the dining room closed at 9pm I have been a vegetarian since 1981, massive history in animal activism, owner of an animal rescue and long time Houston resident... However honestly I don't usually go for vegan fast food because it just wasn't around in the 80s and I've got so used to life without. Today I did, I made the effort to venture out and find a veggie dining spot and that was after seeing a post about this place. I don't have time to waste writing a thousand ways you could improve your business and the MASSIVE DISSERVICE you are doing to the local community but it's a slap in the face to wait over an hour and receive your slippage. Being trapped in a line 1 hour and 5 minutes start to finish; with traffic in front of you and behind you in 90f heat, with your engine running non stop! Waiting patiently then try to give your order only to be told to wait another 5 minutes and they can take it - then wait again once you get to the window.I arrived at 9.04 and left at 10.15 pm !! This VEGAN restaurant is a disgusting representation of our beloved delicious food to the general public - who the hell ever goes back you? Two staff. The lady said you always leave them under-staffed like that! No business card. The food itself: - I simply cannot waste any more of my evening on this very upsetting dining experience. The fries were warm not hot, soft, floppy, they smelt and tasted like donut grease, such a distinct smell I was put off entirely; reminiscent of the way something turns your stomach over when your are pregnant.... The Original burger; was better, but let's just say my dog ate more of the burger than I did. The Chicken wrap; the chemically strong smell of the artificial cheese sauce was so vile I only got two bites through the dry chicken"ish wrap which incidentally fell apart revealing 90% lettuce and not much else. OVER PRICED SHITE. Beyond delicious!! What a find. We will 100% be back to this location. The tots are very crispy and delicious, the chicken sandwiches are phenomenal, and I love the selection of fountain drinks available. Just need to come back again and try those scrumptious-sounding milkshakes!

Project Pollo used to be my favorite restaurant. Recently they changed their menu and I have hated the flavorless new items. I used to get the Chipotle chicken wrap which is no longer available. I absolutely hate their new cheese recipe too. I have visited 4 locations and all the food is disgusting since the change. I am sad to say that I used to go 3 times a week but will no longer be endorsing them. They are too expensive and the food is not good.

We were so hungry we forgot to take pictures! The food was PHENOMENAL and so tasty! We got the backyard burger and the buffalo chicken sandwich with French fries. I’ve been vegan for 3 months now and Project Pollo satisfied my cravings from my past diet without causing any harm to animals. I will definitely be returning regularly. The service was great, a few workers stopped by the table and asked if we needed anything. The person who took our order also gave my boyfriend and I free milkshakes for our birthdays. Awesome place, check it out!!
