Red Flame Steak & Grill

We originally stopped in just to buy a gift card since we had lots of Christmas shopping to do but we were hungry and decided to eat there. OMG, y’all!!! The staff is so friendly and our server, Nelson was very attentive and helpful. I had the mahi mahi and my husband had the pork chops. Both entrees were absolutely delicious! I’m so glad we decided to eat there! I’m also glad that we’re gifting our son and daughter in law the opportunity to eat there too! We are already planning to go back soon for the beef Wellington dinner.

Total let down for us!!! We decided to make a reservation here for dinner since it was my mother's and my son's birthday, and they wanted a Tamahawk steak. We showed up for our reservation at 6 pm on a Tuesday; the presentation was nice, and the staff were friendly. We sat and ordered our drinks, then when it came time to order, we found out they had already sold out of Tamahawk steaks!!!! Very surprising since it was only 6pm on a Tuesday, and it was not crowded at all. You would think a streak house, known for their Tamahawks, would be prepared!!!! Of course, since my son wanted the steak for his birthday, we said we would have to cancel and go somewhere else, instead of apologizing and just letting us go, they HAD to charge us for the drinks that we had hardly drunk. We felt this was very unprofessional and did not want us to return. Just sorry but not sorry, just give us our money and be on your way. Thankfully, Taste of Texas was able to accommodate us, and we had a wonderful experience with them. Don't waste your time here.

Neshka out server was the best server I've had in a while. She made my husbands birthday memorable. I would recommend anyone to this place. No complaints on anything and I don't say that about a lot of places.

Had he Thursday night New York steak special for two. 12 ounce steaks were cooked perfectly. Included two sides and two salads with a bottle of their house wine which was pretty good. Nelson was our waiter and he was excellent. Arrived before 6:00 and had great Happy Hour cocktails. Will be back again!

So I had been wanting to try this restaurant for a while, based on reviews, but it fell short. The food was good, nothing spectacular, and my mahi mahi was luke warm. Sundays is all day $5 Happy Hour. The shrimp dish was good, the jalapenos were huge, but the tuna filling was strange; the steak crostini was good. We were there celebrating two birthdays, and although the waiter mentioned it when he initially sat us, it was never acknowledged again. In fact, we were rushed out at 8:45, as they stated they closed at 8 pm. I would say our food definitely came after 8, and the waiter took more drink orders after 8:15, so it felt really rushed. If they closed early (weird to close so early) but certainly this should have been mentioned as this was a central meeting location for a group of friends that had not been together in months and the plan was to enjoy a meal and drinks and catch up. We had to stand in front of the restaurant for an hour after we were kicked out. Do not come here on a Sunday evening unless you want to eat quickly. Personally, I will not be returning.

We ordered Togo and I was so impressed with the attention to detail in the packing of the food. Normally Togo isn’t the same quality as dining in since it has to be packed etc but that was not the case with our order tonight. So, thank you for putting in the effort to make even your Togo orders presentable!! It was all delicious!!!

Red Flame really knocked it out of the park again with their fantastic steaks, service and drinks, and Danny is amazing!!

It's actually much closer than done of the fine downtown places we normally go to and we will try this on the weekends next time because there isn't any substitute for the quality

Outstanding! If you have not been to Red Flame Steak & Grill in Katy, don't wait! We celebrated our wedding anniversary last night and the experience was beyond my expectations. The table was set up with scattered rose petals, the napkins folded into red hearts. The place settings were set. It was a great presentation. The food was phenomenal. My husband cooks a great steak but he said his filet last night was the best he has ever had! Danny was our server and he was very attentive and made great drink, dinner and dessert recommendations. This little restaurant is a hidden gem in Katy! Don't miss out!
