Really disappointing. I have been coming here for years and generally have had no issues. Today’s trip yielded a giant black hair in the very center of my glacier. Glad I was mixing it up otherwise it would have ended up in my mouth.

This review is long overdue. Cameron is amazing and he's extremely helpful. Jayden is wonderful and he's so welcoming. Customer Service is very important to me, so that's the main reason why I'm writing this review. Cameron and Jayden always go above and beyond each time I visit. Both always provide excellent customer service. I really appreciate them. I have been to many places that sell ice cream and treats, but Ritter's Frozen Custard is unmatched in customer service, ice cream and shaved ice. Ritter's ice cream is always so fresh and delicious. It's got a smooth taste to it. The texture is very lite and it doesn't hurt my stomach and that's an added bonus. They offer so many flavors of ice cream and shaved ice. Ritter's Frozen Custard actually taste better than Blue Bell and all the other brand ice cream because it's so fresh. You can get a sample before buying and that's great. You also earn points on your visit. This is my forever place for ice cream and shaved ice.

Nice out of the way spot. Outside seating only so either brave the heat or sit in your vehicle with the AC blowing on you. Good selective and fair pricing. High quality offerings. I will be back.

My husband bought an ice cream sandwich yesterday to share with the kids, it was extremely hard to bite into initially until it melted and then it gave them food poisoning. Never coming back.

Great place, the best custard in Houston, hands down, the best. Open seating, a lot of spacious parking options. The food trucks in front are working and provide hot meal options to complement Ritters. The most important part is that the custard and Italian ice are awesome.
Consider 'gelati-layered', which includes 1 scoop Banana Split Custard + root beer Gelato + Strawberry & Cream Custard! Wow! 👌

If I could give a zero I would. Been coming here six years and never again. Just got 4 kids one with crutches out of the car for a treat. All I had was $100 bill and they wouldn’t take it they looked and looked for a sign and couldn’t find one saying no bills over $20. The. Clerk says “I don’t know what to tell you!” Well going to Andy’s.

Best sweet treats. When the have the cookies and cream flavor, I highly recommend subbing that for the chocolate in the mud sundae. Literal heaven (if you like cookies and cream, haha)

Got there at 9:33pm, closes at 10pm. Order a shake only to be told "no more shakes, malts or concrete's because the machine was already broken down for cleaning for the night." Oddly the car in front of me took about 10 minutes and had 4 large cups in a drink carrier, I bet none of them were shakes or concrete's since the machine was broken down for the evening. The place has went to crap under the new owner. Go to Connie's or even Freddies.
