Rudy's is the standard against which I compare all BBQ QSR. There are better and worse, but I go to Rudy's because it's always a good, consistent flavor, and I love the setup of the restaurant. In Katy, I'm greeted when I walk in and never rushed at the registers or tables, even when the restaurant is busy. I try other BBQ joints, but I keep coming back to this Rudy's with friends and family.Kid-friendliness: It's a QSR so you are you're own server once you have the food. Chips are eye-level for kids so it's easy to order their meat while they select their chips or side.Wheelchair accessibility: Mixed bag. The setup is good for mobility, but being your own server means you should bring extra help as needed to move chairs, grab condiments, and refill drinks. I'm sure you could ask for help too.

Super cool place. We were asked if it was our first time here, we said yes and our server explained the menu and even gave us samples. The food was so good and the “moist brisket” was literally the most tender meat I have ever had. Really enjoyed this place and highly recommend if you close by.

We are always happy with the food we get at Rudy’s. Very consistent and great quality. They are a reasonable option when feeding large crowds as well.Smoked half chickens are great, along with baby back ribs and moist brisket. You really can’t go wrong with anything from here!

Place is amazing. For all the food we got and only spent about $50 is awesome. It was delicious at the minimum. Their turkey was also just so good, coming from someone who is picky about turkey.

We go there for the brisket and the banana pudding.My husband and I had two brisket with bread, two baby back ribs, and he had one sausage with jalapeño and cheese.We loved the juicy brisket. My husband loved the sausage, but the baby back ribs wasnt for us, apparently.The banana pudding was spot on, but they could've made it a bit large, as it comes in a super small container.
