I live in Mansfield, TX and visited this store while visiting my son in college at Prairie View A & M. I had recently received a $200 virtual gift card and uploaded it to my Sam's Club App. I went to the Katy Sam's Club on October 25th to purchase groceries for my son using the gift card. I used the scan and go service, paid for my groceries in the amount of $167.06. As I was leaving the store, I was instructed that I had to go back to a cashier for verification. The cashier told me that I had to present the actual card and insert it into the machine. I told her that it was a virtual card and she told me that that would not work. She said they would have to void the transaction. The problem was that Sam's Club had already charged my gift card and at the time it was showing pending. I was told that it would not go further than pending and the $167.06 would be put back on my card. The next day, at 6:11 AM the transaction moved from pending and was completely processed. Sam's Club took my money, but did not give me the items I had purchased. This is theft. I had to use money that I did not have to purchase groceries for my son that weekend. I went back to the Katy Sam's Club the next day and still was not given my money. It is now 10 days later and Sam's Club still has my $167.06. I have been a Sam's Club for many years and I am contemplating canceling my membership and going to Costco. I was brought to tears while pleading with the manager to help me because I did not have the money to buy my college student, son groceries, but Sam's Club did not care. With the economy the way it is, with food prices as high as they are, I am totally dismayed and disheartened.

The pepperonipizza is my favorite!I have only eaten at this location so I can't really tell you about the other locations.It's a good deal and the staff do a great job, friendly and quick with your order.I haven't been back since Covid hit. I need to make some time and see them again.

And Laura one of the managers gave me a phone number Who works for the cell phone company that is inside to Sam’s Club doesn’t want to handle the situation haven’t made a phone call to me at all. Then DeMonte Another associate or another manager not sure if he’s a manager. But I think that’s the owner of the store. His phone number is 832-875-4837 that’s what they gave me this morning. gave me the runaround also and not handling the situation as the customer is always right when they have a receipt and gave you a copy and I also sent the email copy to Walmart when they asked me to wait three weeks and they will send it to me by email never received it so I waited a whole month and I’m back at the drawing board still not receiving the gift card and we are November. three weeks never heard back from them after a month. Now they’re saying that we no longer do the sales in the store and you have to go online and order it that does not have anything to do with the promotion you were running at the moment I process your cell phone. And when I explain to Romel that I bought one from Best Buy he said with where they were on a promotion with the attitude in a cocky arrogant way. I said no they didn’t have the 11 promax that’s the reason why I came over to the Sam’s Club because Best Buy didn’t have the promax they just have 11. And what the sales associate asked me to go by four visa gift card and I bought for American Express gift cards and went to the register and purchased them and came back to this section and bought the phone and I have the receipt of a purchase and no one seems to has a resolution to the ongoing issue of the promotion which they are running now for the 11 Pro Max now they’re willing to 12 promax same promotion $250 gift card now they’re saying I have to be with AT&T in order for me to get the promotion which is not true. It is very very sad that he said every person who I spoke to is outside of the person who owns it which they talk to and they don’t want to give us a gift card and if your store you don’t want to give up the gift card because you don’t wanna come off any money for bad customer service and complete blatant lies. I need to be resolution to this whole issue.

Despite the LONG line, the wait was VERY minimal, the staff was AMAZINGLY helpful & people were NOT bad. Some did get upset due to the limit of things but in all fairness they abided. The store was very clean & arranged nice.
