My husband and I eat pizza almost every Friday night. We decided to try Sapore Detroit Style Pizzeria this week, and boy, it did not disappoint! The crust is deep-dish perfection, the cheese isn’t mozzarella but a buttery brick cheese from Detroit, and the sauce is on top. The sauce is so flavorful I could eat it by itself with a spoon, and it’s not a heavy sauce. The pepperonis were perfectly cooked, with curled, crispy edges. I'm from St.louis and have lived in Houston for 5 years now. I've been in search for the best pizza. Although I haven't tried every spot in Houston, this takes first place. I was giving up hope that Houston didn't know pizza. Sapore proved me wrong. I could eat here breakfast, lunch and dinner. Keep up the great work and don't change a thing!
This place is so good , I can’t believe it took me all this time to finally give it a try ! I half ordered supreme and half Windsor tunnel and it was amazing ! I also ordered wings since they are fresh and not frozen ! I got the sweet Greek wings 10/10! I also got a salad and the salad was fresh and good. I will be going back soon.
