SEAHOLIC Katy Seafood & Bar

Word of warning. SEAHOLIC Seafood & Bar is a discriminatory place. Because of a spat we had with them before, they allegedly got rid of happy hour. We went and other people were charged HH prices. But when we tabbed out, they charged us full price! Why? Because we called them out on it. And now we have been kicked out because we asked about it. Danny, the manager even told us that because of the previous spat, that we don’t get HH prices and to f$$ck off. They pick and choose who they want to charge HH prices to. This is NOT the way to run a business. P.S. They didn’t charge us and ate and drank $77 worth 😂

These people are scammers! They don’t even tell you that you have to scan a QR code for pricing for seafood! The owner is like you need to scan the QR code to find prices. The waiter didn’t even say anything! If any restaurant has a WR code, it is for menus! They have pricing everywhere but the seafood! I was thinking 100 or maybe 150 but 254.00 for food in general is insane! Don’t waste your time! Mambos, Gringos and every other restaurant have prices! They don’t!!!! If I wanted to pay this much, I would have gone to Perry’s Steakhouse! You’re a bar with food! Not a damn restaurant! You have prices everywhere but this section! The owner said he would make sure the waiters tell every customer to scan for prices!

Sack 3 with spicy garlic seasoning was a great choice, a great amount of seafood in the sack. Me and my daughter shared and my wife ordered the calamari. It was fresh, and all the food had a lot of flavor. Right uo my alley. I will deifnetly visit again. I have a new place I. Katy for seafood now

Food is great atmosphere is cool it can be a bit too busy for my liking but that just comes with great food and drinks not cheap but well worth the prices , crawfish and Seafood Boils are top notch 10/10

Amy was a GREAT server she took care of everything we needed and was SUPER NICE LOVED HER SO FUNNY TOO but there was one server that was a male worker who was extremely disrespectful I was her for my birthday and he messed me whole time there there was no reason for that and will contact Cooperate on him other then him Amy was so amazing she is my favorite server there and manger told me maybe he was having a bad day I had a bad day as well and I was not rude to my server there once so what was the excuse for his behavior

I’ve been going to this place for dine in a take out for a couple of years. Service has been hit or miss depending on the server. Nothing consistent about the service either way. Until recently.
I called in an order and they got it wrong. When I called to let them know, the host offered to make it right if I drive back to the restaurant. Which I wasn’t open to so she offered a credit. Took my name and phone number and told me they would hold the credit for my next visit.
That was tonight. It was a total nightmare. I talked to 2 people who couldn’t hear or me because it was so loud. Neither one of them were helpful and could hardly understand me. Manager, finally got on the phone. He a bit condescending, made me repeat myself several times and never apologized.
They eventually offered me a 5% credit for the mistake after being on the phone with them for over 25 minutes just trying to get them to understand my problem.
So much more to say but I’ll leave it right here.
Bottom line, I cancelled my order and will never go back to this place again. Manager called me back to try to talk me into picking up my phone and 10 minutes later offered me $10 off but it was too late by then. I’ve never been treated so poorly by a restaurant who initially made a mistake.

Busy isn’t an excuse to be rude or play games with a customer.

My husband and I are regulars at Seaholic, drawn back time and again by the consistently great food. Their crawfish and shrimp are always perfectly cooked, and the portion sizes are impressive-most of the time! However, our experiences with service have varied quite a bit, and today's visit was particularly disappointing.
We've encountered a few different servers here, including Tran, Misty, and today, Trin N.
Unfortunately, each time, we've found ourselves needing to search for our server multiple times during our meal. It often feels like there's a rush to turn over tables, which adds unnecessary pressure to our dining experience. As someone who has worked in the food industry myself, I completely understand the need to manage table turnover, but it shouldn't come at the expense of customer service.
While the food is undoubtedly delicious, it's frustrating to feel hurried and neglected. I hope that Seaholic can find a balance between efficient service and ensuring their guests feel welcomed and looked after. We love the food, but we'd love even more if the service could match the quality of meal!

Minh (one of the bartenders) was amazing! She greeted us and answered our questions with a personal touch. She made recommendations and was very helpful. I really liked her and her service!

This place is definitely worth a try! The food was delicious, and the crawfish was priced lower than a similar spot I visited the week before, making it an even better experience. While our order was mistakenly prepared twice, the staff did correct it. However, it was frustrating that, aside from our waiter, the rest of the team seemed to ignore us, even when we clearly asked for assistance. Despite this, the quality of the food made up for the service hiccups. Overall, I’d recommend giving this place a shot—it has great potential with a bit more attention to customer service!

Parking: In a shopping center, parking is shared with multiple other locations. Fortunately, it is at the corner, so it has more parking than the other locations, but it gets packed, so you may end up parking far away.

Only given 4 stars because the food is ok. The cheese fries were good. The food is ok, noting special. No flavor on the fried food batter needs attention. Fried oysters didn't taste great, and the fried rice is not fried it butter rice to soggy for me. But nice atmosphere. Probably not going back to eat, but maybe for a drink at the bar .
