On the morning of March 15, 2025, we purchased an order of donut holes, half dozen glazed donuts, and discovered that four of the donuts had mold. Although the donuts appeared warm, giving the impression of being fresh, it became clear that they were not. I had assumed that all items were discarded at the end of the day and that the next day's offerings would be fresh. Unfortunately, this does not appear to be the case

These were the driest kolaches I've ever eaten!! The boudain was mush, and there was only a half piece of sausage in the country sausage kolache. The kolache was $3.50... Should have gone the 10 minutes out of the way for my local mom and pops!

I arrived at this location today at 5:37pm and the girl at the drive thru (maria) was so rude . She had also served me cold donut holes. It also said the lobby closes at 6 but the doors were closed upon arrival so we had to go through drive thru. I don’t recommend this location unless you want an selfish and unprofessional employee to serve you. DONT COME TO THIS LOCATION! Trash, pathetic and unprofessional employees.

Shiitleys as a whole seems to have gone downhill. Other locations all have burnt and dry kolaches and now this one does too! I figured, different location that's much newer must be better. Nope. So not only has price gone way up, quality is way down.

Every time I ask for a regular sausage and cheese kolache they always give me a BOLD sausage and cheese kolache instead. The Bold sausage taste completely different and cost more then the regular. Even when I ask the cashiers in the drive through to please make sure it is the regular sausage and not the bold, they always end up giving me the bold. I now have to go inside and make sure myself that they give me the correct one. And when I finally get what I want, the still end up charging me for a bold kolache! It is almost like they are trained to always go for the more expensive option.

This was actually my first time visiting this chain and also this location. We were visiting from out of town and I kept seeing their locations throughout Houston and I had tried 2 other donut places that were absolutely fantastic and I said to myself. Well, let's at least give this place a try and I have to say we were greatly disappointed.I don't know if it just happened to be that day or whatever.But the donuts were cold.They were very hard and we were just totally disappointed ? ? ?
