Showed up at 6:40pm to buy a donut. First, they close at 8pm but they locked the front door. I considered going through the drive thru however someone was standing there at the window ordering. We thought oh you can walk up to the window, cool. We decided however to walk inside, news flash door is locked. So we went around the side and waited behind the gentleman as she served him his doughnuts and he paid.
Seeing everything piled up I still decided I wanted to buy. I waited my turn behind the guy(Hispanic) she(Hispanic lady) was serving. She tried to close the window on me when I approached.
As soon I was opened my mouth to speak she tried to close the window as she spoke drive thru only, drive thru only. I tried to express why I was initially standing there and to follow that with my confusion of why he was just served there with no car. But she waved me away continuously cutting me off and repeating herself, drive thru only, drive thru only. At that point I had it and said, screw this.
He blocked the drive thru so how could I pull up? Do you expect me to run him over? There was literally no space. Their drive thru is not even a drive thru. Go there and you will see how it’s awkwardly placed.
I do not recommend this business. I ultimately feel discriminated against. Why serve him but not me? He and her were of the same race but not me(Caucasian). I don’t want to take it there but I will mention it because it feels odd how it all happened. He was not in a car but you take his business. Not only did the lady miss out on a tip but a regular customer. I just moved here last week and was looking for my go to spot. I tried their old fashioned cinnamon rolls a couple days ago and loved them. I wanted to grab one tonight after a hard days worth of work.
Please look into this employee because that was extremely rude. We waited there politely. A family approached their locked doors as we walked away angry and complaining. They turned around immediately. You should do the same. It’s not worth it. She was not friendly in any matter. The lady clearly does not want to be there and obviously picks who she wants to serve. She made that quite obvious.
I will not be back. You should be ashamed of your work ethic.

I am confused. I am staying at the hotel next door and have been told to try Shipley donuts if I ever get the chance. But there are so many reviews about rude employees and old product. This was not Shipley donut. The worst half dozen donut I've eaten. I'd bitten one and thrown it and the rest away. It tasted rubbery and wet.

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. They don’t even acknowledge you when you walk in, the lady that was taking our order was rude and kept interrupting me as I was ordering. My icing on my donut wasn’t even on properly due to how aggressive she was grabbing them…Don’t go here cuz if I could throw my donut at her, I would have.

I wish I could give this store negative remake. I am so upset with this store. Lady at front door was rude . Store hours are till 8. We reached at 7:40. Lady threw all donuts in front of us and said store is closed. We asked her to update the store timing and she said no we clean up at 7:30. This is the second time happened with me this store. Why do you keep the store hours till 8 if you start cleaning up at 7:30??? This is really unacceptable. Horrible place . Don’t go here.
